I was doing some reading re: shield regen, & it said that if you use shield boosters, they slow that down
Boosters don't slow down regeneration. It's constant. You just need to regenerate more shields so it will take more time.

Boosters increase the duration of the refractory period before shields come back up at 50%. After this period is over they do not slow down the recharge rate.
The technique of shutting down boosters until the shields are up will get you shields that are a sliver of what they would be had they recovered the usual way. It is only advisable if you cannot reboot to get the shields up AND you are using Shield Cell Banks or desperately need what little shields you can get.

Knightwolf 1785What's everyone thoughts on the Adamastor's beacon and that it's linked to maybe the sister ship? I hoping for a really great story from this.
Is the beacon added. I went few hours ago there. Got a message to download something but there was nothing.

Knightwolf 1785Same, but knowing who's sending it is half the mystery. Going to where it's coming from and exploring for more clues, for me at least, is the real fun part.
See, that's the thing: That message is supposed to tell you where to go next for clues. And right now it's not very informative, with the region alone being waaaaay too vague.

If so: Those were important for the Adamastor-/Halloween-Event last year and have nothing to do with the Hesperus. That riddle got solved and led to the discovery and colonization/occupation of the Coalsack Nebula by the Alliance.
