Aleksander MajjamHaven't played Elite in months, but have had fun in other games thus far, so decided to jump back in. Need to unlock just 3 more engineers.
Need 25 Modular Terminals. I Know I need to do passenger missions for them.
I see only one mission offering 30 Modular Terminals. Trip is a 44,000LY round trip.
I sigh, and to stave off depression, I pop Octopath Traveler back in. That game makes me happy.
I honestly just don't know if I can shell out the ridiculous time needed in order to get things done in this game anymore. It's sad, because I love this game to death.

SakashiroThat's a serious case of Elite Fatigue™ right there.
And the crazy thing Saka is that I took time off playing ED to stave off the fatigue. You could probably call completing CP2077 in its entirety a grind fest, but I enjoyed every hour of it. I love fetch quests in RPG's, but there's something about fetch quests that would take me a week or more to complete.
Synthya WylderI haven't worried about grinding the Engineers. I figure, sooner or later, I'll gather what's needed. Keeping it fun is #1.
I wanted to unlock all of them before Odyssey hit consoles. I didn't want to have to worry about unlocking them when it released and changed having to unlock both engineers and whatever else is going to be added to unlock. Unfortunately, for this one engineer, you have to do specific shit to unlock him. There's also another engineer where you have to fetch 25 Sensor Fragments and I'm sure it's going to be the same slog as Modular Terminals.

That's a relog fest on Thargoid site with SRV.
And I told you I have 50 Modular Terminals, just log to the game , dock on my FC and message me in discord so I can put them on the market.

That seems to have come off a little more unfriendly then you intended, I think. I'm not saying it's bad as I get what you meant, but seemed a little rough is all.

CP2077 has a special place in my heart, right next to Fallout 4.

Going to Colonia and back (or equivalent) for modular terminals is indeed a bit much. I remember I collected the terminals by completing several smaller missions. For sensor fragments there is a site with a crashed thargoid ship where you can farm them. It won't take long.
