So let me see if I have this correct: to investigate the mystery of the Hesperus one needs to visit 3 listening posts (that have been described by other posters) and then one goes to Hind Mine in T Tauri to collect the reward?

4 LPs if you include the one in Chukchan to start the mission, then to the Hesperus (don't forget to pick up all the logs, including those of the Dredger), afterwards to T Tauri to collect reward.

I really enjoy the combat in Elite Dangerous and I had taken a long break from the game and started to play again this year. I was already a Post Captain so first thing I did was finish ranking to Rear Admiral and bought a Corvette. I did my best to engineer it more fully than any other previous ship or effort I had done and then started doing massacre pirate missions.

What do you mean? I can't find it either and I'm in the system.

Yeah, FDevs are getting sneaky by hiding stuff in asteroid belts now without showing in the FSS that there's something special about it...

Glad I didn't have to crack those cyphers on my own. That could have taken a while.

Overall I also enjoyed the event very much, my only real complaint being that CM Zak chose to post updates to the event (like that typo in LP 3 or that they moved said LP after it became apparent that people have flown through that system several times already without seeing it) on CANONN's Discord instead of the official forums.
