MasterploxisFor my understanding - if i play in open - and block certain users. They don't show up in Open for me ?
So i basically can remove them (from my open universe) and do not see them and they cannot see me ?

That would be a good solution for me...

In reality it is not that simple, but on theory this should be it - block should tell the game that you do not want to be put in one instance with the blocked person.

I have taken the determination of playing always in open and cope with whatever happens.

It makes me engineer my ships accordingly.

And I find quite thrilling to find gankers on my compromised nav beacon or conflict zone when I am farming ranks.

I had to run away many times.

All I see is a release date. No fixes mentioned.

Expect patches and avoid day one as in any game/new DLC release.

Lul, they still have 7 year old bugs from the original game. I really doubt fixing all the issues before release is their game plan. It's more like "management said this date, so they get what they get".

Don't forget that there's also Phase 4 of the Alpha to come, according to the responses to that tweet above it's supposed to start next week... meaning at best they give themselves 2 weeks to fix all the bugs and do all the optimizations still needed until release

We will see phase 4 but expect final patch to drop next May. There are way too much issues with EDO as it is now.

Optimization needs to be in by the start of Phase 4 if they're releasing on May 19th. Is it possible they intend to do a live beta on May 19th instead? The release cycle is way too tight given what I have seen from Odyssey, but it's also possible that the alpha is just a heavily cut/scaled version for the public to mess with and not the full extent of what they have.

I had steady 40-60 fps on foot with my potato laptop with just 8gigs ram and 1660ti gpu.

... But the horrible new galmap, system map , new UI , new dark galaxy , tons of sound and display bugs .... that won't go away in 4 weeks.

You cannot park near with large ship. Take a python - 198t will have you killed from boredom half way through it.

good idea! Is this in the setting menu? I am away from the game right now but I believe that if that works all commanders be encouraged to do this.

Got my feet wet with the CG using a Krait Phantom with a modest 72t cargo space. I'm really glad I didn't use a bigger ship. I went into a narcoleptic coma after gathering just 54 tons.
