Yep, that's the long range mod. At least they got that and the high capacity mod right.
Too bad they missed the Feedback Cascade effect as well as ninja nerfing the reload time by 30%.

Did someone actually checked that the feedback cascade is missed? It might be just an open option for x2 experimentals. I guess I will check it later apparently no one wants to go in combat and actually test if notification for cascading a bank is shown.

My 4A beam laser has a 6000m range, also with no damage fall off.

Well, I tried but it's not easy finding a suitable target - one that spams SCB's and a size that I can actually hit. Also I think that railguns in general are pretty useless unless you can pack 3 or 4. I was hoping this one would be some use against shields - It's not. It's also totally unusable against anything small and agile. So, for my playstyle this railgun will almost certainly end up in storage. YMMV.

You just need practice. Rails, being a hitscan weapon are far more useful vs small, agile targets than PAs. The hint here is that they are used for sniping not for dogfights. The other essential part is to use mouse. It is a lot harder with stick and near impossible with thumb sticks.

I will check canceling after few hours when I get home. If I do not find a friend, I will use pirate assassination missions as they are ideal for this because you get lone medium/large targets.

What a load of bollocks... There's people who do well with either a flight stick or a controller. I find a flight stick much easier than a mouse and I had no trouble hitting things with rails. This is bad advice.

What you should be saying is get comfortable with your preferred control scheme and practice keeping the bad guy under your reticle.

I don’t care what you use, trying to keep an Elite or Deadly Eagle under the crosshairs is not a walk in the park. Even if you hit him, his shields will have recovered before you hit him again. Also that ridiculous charge-up delay is simply torture. Please prove me wrong.

Are you denying that aiming with mouse is far easier than aiming with stick? I wonder why all this people on the forum wants aim assist for pads/sticks

On a side note:
A nice guy in the official forum confirmed that the CG rail do not have feedback cascade effect by hitting a banking target.

As someone else in the official forum suggested: perhaps the easiest solution for FDev would be to give the correctly engineered rail to everyone that got the "defective" one.

What route exactly? May be a problem of a low demand at the target station, triggering the infamous bulk tax for large hauls.

All routes that include gold, a type 9 full of gold used to net me 17mil, suddenly its netting me 7mil, not surw why these routes still show up in the search.

Well, as I see, station markets in Zeaex were updated a few hours ago, it's also possible the prices changed meanwhile and it needs to be updated again, you can check that (there is a last update information displayed). You can help to update market prices via tools like EDMC, EDDiscovery, etc.
It's shown there because nobody knows if prices are or are not different since the last update, that's why the last update information is displayed and anybody can evaluate the risks on his own.

Haven't played Elite in months, but have had fun in other games thus far, so decided to jump back in. Need to unlock just 3 more engineers.

Need 25 Modular Terminals. I Know I need to do passenger missions for them.

I see only one mission offering 30 Modular Terminals. Trip is a 44,000LY round trip.

I sigh, and to stave off depression, I pop Octopath Traveler back in. That game makes me happy.

I honestly just don't know if I can shell out the ridiculous time needed in order to get things done in this game anymore. It's sad, because I love this game to death.
