Wat? There is written Earth masses: 94.5884 Maybe I am still confused because I woke up few minutes ago. But 94,5 times bigger masses of Earht could mean 94,5G instead of Earths 1G. So where I do mistake? Masses = gravity

Can't remember the exact formula but is it g = m1m2/r?

Close, it's Fg= Gm1m2/r^2
G=6.674x10-11 m^3/kg s^2

to put it plainly:
Lithobreaker has ~100x the mass / ~9x (~3x earth radius squared) = ~11x earth g's so the game math checks out.

That's the one! Nice one B!

Kenji_088Hi everybody. Just wanted to throw this out there.

My wing (3man rn) is sitting on about 35 wing missions, each with 50M payout.
We have 1 open slot still, and if any new-ish Commander wants/needs a cash inject, feel free to hit me up.
Total payout should be around 3.000.000.000.

The system is Cubeo, station Medupe city.

Fly safe. cmdrs.

Ps. i have some IRL stuff coming up soon, so i might be off for a bit, but will be back later today.

That's a generous & considerate offer. I'm not near Cubeo, if that's a requirement.

I'm off to bed after several days of material harvesting.

You will love it out there!
Recently returned from Colonia and have unlocked the FSD booster for future trips. :-)

Unless someone knows of a special source, you don’t appear to be able to purchase Fed or Imperial Ships out there, but you can get everything else.
Ship transfer is possible, but the cost, although proportional, is huge once ships get more expensive than an ASP Explorer.

I flew a Conda out, and left it there for future use. And ship transferred all favourite small imperial ships.
The Conda was slowish to turn but more stable when neutron jumping. (I took a couple of AMF repair modules with me).
Flew back to the bubble in an ASP-ex, with AMF modules as was neutroning for part of the return trip.

I have come to conclusion it is faster to fly out the large ships with Guardian boosters than spend time accumulating credits for the ship transfer cost.
Building a 2nd Corvette to be flown out to Colonia, and planning to eventually do the same with the Cutter.

Have a good trip!

If only this worked with geological sites, too. Raw mats gathering would be a breeze!

Or does it? Has anyone tried?

If it is low gravity world it might work but you need to knock the fragments first - it can be done with a laser.

Probably will be very ineffective.

Turrets might help knocking them from a ship. But yeah, I'm skeptical, too.

Doesn't work for me limpet expired as soon as they get to the guardian stuff

Btw, is there an explanation in the lore for why ships heat up so much when they fly across a planet surface upside down?

SakashiroBtw, is there an explanation in the lore for why ships heat up so much when they fly across a planet surface upside down?

No idea if there is an actual lore explanation but here's what I assume based on basic physics:

The ships in game are space ships and do not have aerodynamic lifting bodies or wings and right now the planets we can land on / fly close to the surface of don't have an atmosphere to facilitate aerodynamic lift anyway. Basically, when flying close to a planet's surface your ship's ventral and dorsal thrusters (depending if you're upside down/right side up) are what is keeping you from falling out of the sky. Therefore, your ship heats up more than it normally would because those thrusters have to burn constantly until you either land or point straight up so your main drives can do all the work..
