If Fdev really wanted the Feds to win then they should have wrote it that there was irrefutable proof that Hadrian Duval was involved instead of leaving grey area. As a player base we tend to always go against the aggressor unless there is overwhelming evidence that supports the action.

As a player base the trend has been for the Federation to win, because for years new players spawned in Fed territory.
Guess I'm a Fed.

They probably did expect that. From what I understand, I believe this will be the first time the Empire won a war over the Federation in the last 5 years.

Possibly. I haven't been paying that close attention. I just know chat has been full of a lot of people being surprised about the Empire actually winning a fight against the Federation.

Update: There still seems to be a few at the nearby CZs, it must be issues with instancing

You keep calling this non-sense "Empire vs Feds" while it is just some unknown faction vs squadron of living players.

Would be interesting to see an alternate timeline where the attacking MF had been supported by a player squadron. Otherwise, he's just happy because it's our home system that is on the defense and is not losing.
