Seth BradwellI'm just wondering what to do now the CG is over - I have enough money so trading and mining isn't really required anymore, not really in the mood for yet more combat right now and going against Thargoids will require a lot of grinding just for it to be mostly over by the time I am finished, I could finish off my PvP training ship so I can "get gud", but eventually I will be triple Elite so what else is there to do? It's starting to get to the stage where I would rather write stories about Elite than play Elite at some times, but having said that, I could just be burned out from so much time doing nothing but CZs. There's always some BGS stuff I guess...
I'm currently grinding for an AX ship right now so I can join in on the fun!

So getting the Guardian stuff isn't that tough - or rather, no more tougher than grinding for Engineering materials? May get round to it myself, but in the meantime a break from the game is probably going to be forthcoming.

I feel like Guardian is easier than engineering is. All you have to do is relog and collect mats at this one particular site and unlock the stuff you want. Once it's unlocked, it's unlocked for good AKAIK.

Good question. I'm building a xeno ship to take advantage of the conflict while it lasts. And I'm building pvp builds for my carrier fleet to be ready for wing fights in odyssey.

ALERT: Xenos are interdicting random pilots now as part of their incursion with multiple high intensity Thargoid conflict zones in progress. I and a lot of other pilots who haven't prepared for Anti-Xeno yet can speedrun Guardian harvesting to prepare. Here is a massively sped up way to farm guardian tech using repeated farming of the same double tech component pillars and triple data terminals at site 2:

Might go do some anti-xeno stuff in a few days time when I am not quite so "Elited out" - it's not really in my RP character but I could always do logs from the POV of someone who is...

Does anyone have an info about casualties during this bug mess?
Currently the senseless waste of life stands at:
Thargoids: 46,554 killed
CMDRs: 140 rebuys
Rescues: 234,500 (+)
Number of civilian dead: zero reported casualties.
There is money to be made but no meaning to be found ... we await Salvation with intrigue.
