Vasil VasilescuIn my experience, ground combat pays way better for time vs reward. Just don't take the missions from Frontline solutions, it is a waste of time.
  • Find a high intensity conflict
  • Fly there
  • Fight
  • Recall ship, fly up to orbital cruise to reset the conflict
  • Return to settlement
  • Repeat until bored

Option B

1. Land
2. Park SRV behind a building where it is safe
3. Do the CZ
4. Log out to menu whilst in the SRV
5. Log back in, you'll be in the SRV, start another round of combat.

Yeah, that is a much faster turn around.

Ooo! I'll have to try that! It sounds quick and definitely viable.

I am soooo close to Combat Elite -- as in 98% right now -- and I really wanted it to happen during AX combat this weekend, but I was only able to get in two AX CZs before the systems (plural) went 100%. I'm quite annoyed with that mechanic. Do I really have to wait until next Thursday before more invasions (and thus AXCZs) spawn? Or is there some other way I can do AX combat this weekend?

Option C

just land ur ship near conflict zones. Not need to wake out after combat done. Call ur ship, aboard and log out. Nothing complicated.

Land.
Shoot.
Recall the ship
Aboard
Log out

There may be situation turrets will shoot you after aboard, ignore wait out 15s to log out unles ur ship is made of plastic

IIRC, last "run around and shoot" game was the Tomb Raider II or was it Duke Nukem 3D. I have never got into PC/Vid games. They bore me after a while. Reality is much more interesting. Books beat every PC game ever invented.
I started with ED a month ago and I am starting to have enough. I only play it because I have to sit in front of my PC and do my RL stuff that sometimes involves waiting. So I thought, lets try a PC game while I keep an eye on my work.

RampagerabbitGreetings commanders,

Not bad for one system. 400 million Cr. from 4 planets.

How many "First footfall"'s did you bag?

For this system, all of them were first footfall.

If you play this game for the foot part you're playing the wrong one.

You barely scratched the surface of the game, be it COMBAT, TRADE or EXPLORATION, try a trip to Polonia, perhaps it will change your perspectives.
