Hey if there's an FAQ I should read or something feel free to point me to it! I'm also clicking as many tabs as I can to read what's available. There's a lot out there and I have no way of knowing whats still valid or what's changed over the past n months

Why not just enjoy the ride? It's so easy to get to a billion nowadays, you miss the little things.

Like properly outfitting the ship you start in, or stumbling into a war between player groups... or other tbings.

This is nice advice! and fitting for me. Any tips for mods or setup tips? Heard that VoiceAttack is super useful.

People are losing the idea of 'enjoying the road' nowadays, they need a destination. An endgame without a game.

UtlagiAlso, I'm interested in speed-running to 1 billion credits.
You can do surface scans of known earthlike, water and terraformable planets. It's the safest way, you can do it on almost any cheap bucket of ship and it's reasonably fast as well. And soon you'll hit that billion credits, buy yourself an Anaconda with A-rated modules and join the crowd of people on ships that they call 'endgame' without substantial knowledge of a game.

I sort of like the idea of ED as an incremental game. But why stop at 1 billion?

By the time I manage to get Elite V on everything (except CQC) all of these things will probably happen:
1) It will go up to Elite X.
2) There will be 6 more categories.
3) It will actually be 3307.

dropped down on planet on foot looked around and my ship was gone.. any ideas? is their a way to recall ship on foot mode? (i never dismissed it to begin with) only thing i can think of is to die all alone on the cold cruel planet
