Where I want to go when they get Elite Dangerous Odyssey working right on PC and for Xbox/PS. What could be waiting past those old doors I wonder. More tech, an old ship, or something else?

Sorry for bringing you the bad news but there is nothing new for ships and existing gameplay in Odyssey. IMO, on-foot stuff is separated from everything old and lacks any synergy. No reason to play on-foot stuff unless you are some FPS fan or want to upgrade on-foot stuff.

It is probably an Odyssey settlement then and you are playing Horizons maybe?

Any alliance allegiance system will work. Land in a station and go to contacts.

Are there high surface CZ in the CG system. I was just promoted to gladiator, can simply push for deadeye and elite while bringing freedom to poor, oppressed, federal citizens.

My double l-6 setup is ready.

Today I bit the bullet (literally!) and replaced the huge beam laser on my Mamba for an equally huge high-capacity multi-cannon with auto loader. To make up for the loss in thermal damage I put another two beams on the previously vacant small hardpoints. Took the baby out for a ride in a hazRES, and I have to say I'm slightly disappointed. The MC works as advertised, but I'm wondering if there's a silencer attached to it. I can hardly hear it against the buzz of the lasers! I was hoping for a masculine "dakka dakka dakka" but got a depressed "dupdupdupdup" somewhere in the background instead. Did I purchase the shy version by accident? The one that apologizes for the carnage? There was so little audiovisual feedback, I had to check the opponents' damage indicator on the dashboard to confirm that I was actually firing.

The large one is not a Gatling / rotor system.
