Wish there would be more ways to stay hidden, use little drones to bypass them and download the needed data, or initiate some kind of distraction.
It's just them staying mostly in their cabins and me entering them and killing them for data or material you might be able to extract in some other kind of way.
But well I see me entering those places ~400 times until I've what I need... so let's say 4000 kills
that will fit nicely in my bio.Edit: I had to take only ~250 lives for a total of 25 -> cat/multimedia/classic entertainment units.

I'm quite new to the game and have a question:
As ya'll probably know, GalNet reported a few Thargoid attacks recently, and now it has a list of affected ports/orbitals that need help repairing and stuff. It also lists the materials that they need.
When I got to one of these places, I saw that there were quite a few missions asking for these materials. At the same time, in the trading menu they all had 9,999 demand.
What is the best way to help the repairs? Does the missions counts towards the repair of the orbital? Does the selling of them?
I can imagine a couple of reasons for all the 4 possibilities here, so that's why I'm a little confused.
Also, if it is the case that none of them aids the repairing of the orbital directly, what does?
Anyway, I appreciate any help clarifying that.

The game mechanics of 'station repairs' is simpler than it looks. You just can sell those wares to the station at better prices and it won't lower the demand level. 'Under repair' state have a time limit, after which station is going back to normal operation.

The best way is to join https://www.operationida.com/ on their discord server as they are coordinating repair efforts.
With that being said, all repairs are currently on hold as the progress is reset every week after Odyssey launch.

Can you describe how to find those skimmers (Signal Source Name)? The only downed skimmers I've found only had those cuttable panels for materials.

Irregular markers with a threat level. The leyout you are looking for is 2 room size containers and a crashed skimmer. The skimmer have a military data port that can drop those. There are small containers in the big one in which you can find various narcotics including Push and weapon schematics.

SakashiroEngineered my Courier a bit more after a long break. Replaced the grade 5 armored 4A power plant with a grade 2 low emissions 3A one. Jump range +1 Ly, boost speed +20 m/s, rebuy -40,000 Cr. Can scoop fuel a bit longer without overheating.
