SakashiroI sometimes ram small ships charging at me while their shields are down. It's a quick way to finish them off, and due to the difference in mass there is hardly any deceleration. For me at least.

I do this almost every chance I get with any size ship as long as I have the shields for it and a reasonable mass advantage.

Have you ever managed to reply to a direct message sent by someone not on your friends list? I keep getting these errors, and it's frustrating.


Yes, you need to target the ship. That also means you were targeted by this CMDR.

So the usual /r doesn't work? I have to find him again and target him to respond? Ah, typical FDev design.

The other option is to go to the direct message click on it and then reply. /Not sure about that though.

I tried /r and /d JL-peta and also the menu. In some cases there wouldn't even be an error message.

Usually when you select a message you have received you can reply but there is one important aspect - you must be in same instance.

If you are not in same instance it won't work. Weird p2p chat implementation.

She was obviously ganking and other gankers got territorial as someone else was chasing their prey.

Yup, the irony of a ganker asking me what I was doing there. My Courier doesn't even have an interdictor.

Since most gankers seem to realize the futility of interdicting a Courier, I feel that I need to become more proactive in my approach. So in order to take my ganker trolling career to the next level, I'm considering this ultra fast Courier build for hit & run jobs. Your thoughts?

No weapons. That build has a single purpose: to pull ships out of supercruise and be annoying. Nothing else.

To continue my tradition of naming ships after Meiko Kaji movies, that one will bear the name "Alleycat" and use this super sexy paint job I bought a few months ago.

this is the most broken game i have ever played.

I feel ya, got booted from a wing mid mission, rejoined then got left with leaving wing message for the rest of the mission.... Earned about 2% what I would have been due after hours of playing.
