AHSo, I am going to take my AspX to a Guardian site in Synuefe PX-J something. Got my to 2 SRV, massive fuel scoop and off I go. 17 jumps makes me wonder is it really worth it. Adios!

Honestly, AH, if you just want to copy my AspX build, I think you'll be really happy. I used it to get all sorts of exploration, I used it for mat farming, and for guardian mat farming (which is a primary reason it has a point defense up top, as Aunty Sledge mentions).

I highly recommend Gauss and Modified Shards first. The latter can be obtained via tech broker in permit-locked Mbooni system but I managed to get mine via some kind of CG which didn't involve becoming allied with Azimuth because honestly screw them, lol. The former are purely Guardian tech and were a starting point for many, including me.

p.s. Bright Sentinel (the megaship with tech broker for the modshards) may be outside Mbooni, I haven't checked in-game, but Inara shows it's in HIP 22460 at the moment. If it isn't wrecked beyond repair, of course. Honestly, I'd like to help more but the last time I unlocked something was very long ago.

And yes Aunty, got the point defence on my roof.
Have not gotten very far. Got side tracked and went looking for plant life.
Got my first discovery and without the bonus, it paid 19x less (w bonus, 3x) than a blob you can spot at hundreds of meters and is almost everywhere. That makes absolutely no sense at all. lol

Gauss are the railguns of AX combat and are good for soloing Interceptors, but can also aid in a team for killing of an exerted heart. They are precision weapons.
Modified Shards (not the regular ones!) from your favorite mass murderers Azimuth are the mega shotgun of AX combat. If you love bluntness (and a shot to the face) and don't mind overheating on a regular basis, those are pretty neat.

But maybe go with Gauss first and practice with them a bit.

All I see is another boring week of “Frontier are too lazy and/or incompetent to tell a proper invasion story”, so the Thargoids continue to sit there waiting to get bashed by the perfectly infallible human forces.

They might as well just have auto-detonated all the Titans, given everyone the rewards, and it would have had about the same effect. Oh, and the invasions are also still nuked out of existence in less than a day because balancing them to run for a week is hard.

Have fun! I had a blast (bank holiday in my neck of the woods). However, my game somehow broke in my third run and I was thrown out of the instance. Anyway, was good fun until then and approx. 1.5bn creds (money making with AX is ridiculous).
