This, or become a 'legit' pirate (when done right it's one of my favourite encounters in the game on either side), or try your hand at Anti-Xeno combat, or Mining, or Buckyballing, or BGS work, or complete all the Codex discoveries, or ....

Plenty of stuff to do. If you prefer to role-play a punch bag you are on the right track with that type-9.

And what's considered 'normal' in ED?
Exploring with a DBX, AspX or Anaconda. Mining with a Python. Hauling with a Cutter. PvP with a meta FDL.

Clear Save your game and go for triple elite in your Sidewinder. I wish I had the bottle to do it. Apparently it can be done in under 500 hours game play.
