I've died several times before finally understanding that the slightest nose tilt or downward thrust immediately causes you to die. Lol. I landed once but knocked off 40% of my hull. Also love trying to do rolls and maneuvers at 10km up from the surface. It's like landing a crashing ship.

when I used downward thrust, one short hold and my asp started to fall quickly to the bottom so I had to boost to stop falling. I was like "oh shiet not good"

I got these in the Iah Bulu system. Anarchy system and the settlement was industrial. But to be honest you must have RNGgod or it will take too long to collect 10 opinion polls. My suggestion is for another engineer to unlock or farm weapons and mods while looking for opinion polls.

I found some useful information about reverberating cascade torpedoes. If that info is accurate, one such torpedo inflicts 42 damage on shield generators, regardless of module reinforcements. So the only way to harden shields against them is by increasing module integrity of the generator itself. For example, using the thermal resistant modification (instead of reinforced) boosts integrity by 40%. The double braced experimental effect boosts integrity by 15%. If applied together, the integrity boost is 61%.

Interesting detail: There is a weight and price difference but almost no difference in module integrity and shield strength between a double braced 8A generator and a hi-cap 8B generator. On a T-9, the weight difference has a negligible impact on speed and jump range, but the price difference reduces the purchase price by 90 million and the rebuy by more than 4 million credits (if both are sold with the 15% discount).

So how many torpedoes are required to take down those class 8 generators? Here's a list:
