DirnivirNPC back talk is annoying
But it can funny too! I heard one story from this guy who was playing the game where an NPC was saying things like, "I will boil you up!" But apparently, the NPC didn't equip weapons on his ship and, on top of that, was literally bouncing into asteroids (the player who told this story said he was mining at the time).
NPC's can be stupid but funny sometimes. ^_^

Well, if you signed up for the CG first and turned in your data at Youll Port in the Vistaenis system then there are only two things I can think of :
1) The Left Panel report lags behind and might not show your contribution yet. Check the CG status in the Starport interface, or
2) If you turned the data in via ED:O then it could be a bug related to the previous 'cannot sign up for CGs in ED:O' bug that was fixed with Update 7

Not sure, but ever since the Plasma of doom exploit hotfix ED:O FC interface was not responding (changes buy/sell orders within ED:O would not be reflected in Horizons, transferring cargo to/from ship wouldn't go through, etc...). My guess is it has something to do with that.

K4rlovc4nWill the oddisey come on consoles and when, if known?
I believe the final and official word on consoles is from FDev CEO David Braben in this post on their forum. The gist of it is that no ETA on consoles until PC stuff is fixed.
The last time FDev mentioned a target date for console release was autumn of this year but that was quickly shot down by the CEO's post above. Reasonably, they will certainly release Odyssey at some point, but they remain very tight lipped on this. I don't think the CM's would even say if the console version is being worked on at all or not.

Hi ya. After a long break, I came back to do this CG, thought it was very neutral.
Anyways, I quickly made it to the top 10% (might fallout tho) by mapping only earth-like worlds in the bubble. Turns out there is a lot! Just use Inara's nearest search > bodies > earth-like planets. I tried both Horizons and Odyssey and it works. I think @Burstar mentioned too, but you need to relog if you want to see your numbers update right away.
What exploration counts, I'm actually not sure. When I scanned non-earth-like terraformables, I didn't get anything. When turn in only earth-like, I get like 2x or 3x of what I mapped. BTW, doesn't have to be new, totally okay even if the planet is already terraformed. Doesn't follow the spirit of exploration? Sorry to burst the bubble, no pun intended
