PikkuMikaPrices has comed down,but there are still pretty valuable resources. Void opals,ltd's etc just arent as goid as they used to be. But you can still make decent amount of credits via mining. But nit like it used to be.



I'm low on cash so I just pulled my tritium miner out of storage. Just gotta make sure to NOT sell to carriers...no matter how far above market they are paying...

AKA do not mine tritium unless in the middle of nowhere. It is always better to mine more lucrative minerals and buy tritium with the profit.

Um, I just don't see this. I've been mining for 2 days now and all I can see is that the Ice rings have far greater density of asteroids which means I need to travel less to the next asteroid. Also it really feels in my whole 10 hours of total mining time that the amount of Trit that Iceteroids spit out is greater than that one time I mined a rock and got a couple plat. Not too mention the Ice belts are much prettier, especially if someone is core mining in the area I think I will only mine Tritium. It just makes sense.

It's easy when the asteroids are as dense as they are in Ice belts

Well, perhaps when I did my own research I overlooked something obvious or used math that 'felt' right to me. The important thing though is that I know I'm right.

So is anyone here familiar with a group called Spear? I have heard of them periodically and was left with the impression that it was a group of players who tout themselves as being anti-gankers for public appearance but in reality are the actual gankers. Does anyone know otherwise?

Burstar the Magnificently MediocreEdit: Just a heads up, while out in the black pay attention to where your bookmarks navroute you too. Any FC bookmarks sometimes point to days old previous locations instead of the actual current one.

Why don't you ask this guy? If I remember correctly he was part of it a year ago.

P.S. I had encounters with them just once. A year back in Carcosa a wing of 3 interdicted my courier and started to RP lawful and wanted me to stay calm and wait for a scan. I told them that they can scan me while I am docked at Robardin Rock and left the instance.

I only got a parttime impression of some of them.
While they are in some way annoying themselves...
Most important thing:
They actually didn't shoot me!
They where pretty active during the last years CG events (especially Alcor Part 1 & 2 I had some contacts).

They seem to be very passionate about PvP, but at least somehow targeted players with bounties or commonly known gankers only (at least most of the time as far as I know).

But their behaviour as "supreme galatic police" isn't pleasing either.

Anyway, everybody who fights against gankers gets my support!
(Now that you mention them, haven't heard much of them for a few months now...)
