GryphnnAnd make it possible to be dropped off at a surface location without the ship needing to find a landing spot, this already sometimes happens when you recall a ship, it will just float 20m above you and you can enter.

Yeah, I was confused once from this. On the third recall it was close enough for me to see the blue ring Then Scoty beamed me up

Burstar or somethingWhile we're on fixing the ED:O interface, make it so that material trading isn't done by a bartender but only via a Black Market contact and only in stations where BMs exist.

Completely agree on that one. The barman always makes me wonder where he stored all those 100 stolen power regulators I've sold him.

It is as Frontier had no idea what to do with that NPC and implemented it as material trader.

Another thing that bothers me is all those NPC shouting "I have a dubious opportunity you might be interested in".

I wonder why they haven't went further an added NPC in front of the lifts with the phrase "Pst, do you need cheap taxi?"

As long as it takes to load in/out of a ship, doing it on foot would be faster anyway.

Wait a minute!

How disembarking a ship, running through hangar, waiting lift, running to terminal and then all steps back Is faster than linking ship computer to terminal and do everything from pilot seat?

Or perhaps you want to load/unload a Type-9 one canister at a time?

P.S. I am not against ship/station interiors as long as they exist for immersion and we have alternative menu to skip all that time sink. I would be very happy to read what exciting game experience running through hangar and waiting for a lift brings.

If the ship interiors were actually designed well (Hey, I can dream...), there would be more that one option for entering/exiting a ship on the larger ones. Having one near the cockpit would make perfect sense which is why it will never happen.

What could the role of a barman possibly be?

And I would sneak my way into somebody's ship and steal all their power regulators, disabling the ship in the process.

Yeah, I guess that pouring drinks and distributing rumors is too mainstream.

I swear, if frontier would add interiors to ships, people would either complain even more or the community would be as silent as a grave.

OFC some people would complain. Welcome to the human race. The community would definitely not be silent though. Spontaneous content would generate, stories told, funny videos produced, you know like how it is with SC (/spits).

Well, since FC's alpha people started to want a bridge from which they can observe the jump.

What frontier will eventually deliver is FC concourse which will have a bridge and even ready room.

Buy Odyssey, CMDRs!!!
And buy ARX!!!

Good evening. Is there anything that is worth to deal with abysmal performance in odyssey or it's not worth at all?

Cause odyssey for me looks like ass while lagging as hell on rtx 2060 (especially in settlements)

Yeah, remember why we won't get ship interiours?
"...cause people will get bored to get all the steps in your ship and out of it after a few times"

Being on-foot to do something that can be done as a menu is a total waste of time. I will die on that fence!

I hate all long corporate meetings that could be an email

We likely won't get interiors until they add a VR first-person interface (instead of that $@!@# flat screen view we have now.)
I want VR when I disembark.

After FDev's ten failed attempts to fix settlement performance I'm not too optimistic tbh.

Funny part is that they more or less improved surface performance, but settlements and stations on-foot still laggy as hell

In real space simulator you should be waiting few hours for module changes or cargo canisters change. And imagine all that papers.
