There I was happily passing through PLEIADES SECTOR HR-W D1-52 heading back to Jameson Memorial, when I got interdicted by not one, not two, but THREE THARGOIDS! My humble python empty of cargo no weapons. One minute I’m in hyperspace and thunk!! I’m in normal space. They didn’t even scan me just WOO!!! and my ship was in pieces

Apparently so. That’s the first time I’ve been attacked by them though, I expected just a scan a woo then see you later. Not this time they were not happy.

I accidentally nuzzled one in my Beluga once when I was trying to get a scan (I needed to use the ship for something and it does not exactly stop on a dime!), but I managed to escape with shields still up. I believe that was a group of 2 or 3. Except for that incident, they always leave me alone and I let them come to me rather than me chase them for the scan! I have been hyperdicted by a group of 4 interceptors a few times, needless to say I did not meet and greet. I feel like I had a group of 5 once but the spawn chart doesn't list any with 5.
I also got hyperdicted when I was jumping to Novas today (in the bubble) since it is in an Incursion state. I didn't realize that could happen outside or certain regions, but then I haven't been involved in Thargoid gameplay until somewhat recently.

Weird, I was hyperdicted recently, but they did nothing. Just the usual shutdown field scare, and then bye-bye.

Maybe there's a trigger that makes them aggro? Guardian weapons, Thargoid artifacts in cargo or something?

Tomciopalecclogging ? what is that ?

Combat logout during fight to frustrate a better fighter or a ganker. Works only with PCs as far as I know.

A couple of days ago, in Sosong, while I was fighting in AX CZ with other friendly commanders, I was attacked from behind by a ganker. at first I thought it was a thargoid swarm, then i realized it was two gankers in wing.

do you think it is a correct way to play like that?
what do you think about it?
