TIL that FSD injections don't stack with neutron supercharging. Was hoping to out-jump a fleet carrier with my DBX. So disappointing.

It’s quite possible to out jump a Carrier with a DBX.

With a 56Ly range and a favourable Neutron route plotted I reckon my DBX could beat a Carrier to Colonia if I had the hours to spare from materials grinding

Considering FC's have a 20 minute jump cycle, its about a 15 hour trip non stop in a fleet carrier to go from the bubble to Colonia. A DBX can beat it easily.

Looking for systems in expansion but when I applied the map filter, it filtered out every system. Does this mean no systems are in expansion and if so, should I expect them to be at a later point?

I found plenty of controlling factions in expansion

Hi I was hoping you guys might be able to help answer a question for me.
Im looking thru the planets in HIP 22460 (the current CG system) and taking a break from fighting I tried to pinpoint these OTHER signals that were on some planets,
thing is they dont show up as a POI at all,
anyone know more about them or whats going on with them?

I'm confused now. Is the in game map filter not the same thing as Inara or EDDB?

GalMap shows you info only for know systems AKA systems you've been in.

Inara collect such data by many commanders who seeds data to third party tools.

Unless missions changed with Odyssey, these are credit grab missions. 2-4 million credits, maybe? Sometimes it's a downed ship or a settlement. I think it's scan and go, with some "targets" being protected and will shoot at you.

Thanks. I guess it is just a glitch that there was nothing there then. I've had other random messages, but never with coordinates. That is why I decided to check it out. I don't know if it was worth coming all this way for a few million though.

My jump-scooping Dolphin easily does around 3.5 kylies an hour compared to a carrier's sedate 1.5 so a six-hour non-neutron marathon if needs really must. Then you have 9 hours to wait for your carrier to catch up. Beating a carrier is not hard. Would I want to be concentrating that hard for that long though?

Keeping the carrier refuelled on the trip while you jump, now that's a challenge. I reckon you have around 5-6 kylies before your tritium is done, so that's 3-4 times you have to jump in and transfer from the hold.
