I got ganked just as I was leaving Jameson Memorial. I didn’t even have time for my fsd to charge, the pratt just tore my ship to shreds.Just rude, and the “HA HA I KILLED YOU” made it that much worse.

ChallengeI've never seen elephants race. I'd travel to see that.
During Distant Worlds 2 there was a group that held a stock race canyon ship in the Colonia nebula. People could show up with any stock unchanged ship and race the canyons. Most were showing up in Sidewinders, Eagles, Vipers, etcetera. I showed up in a Beluga and still managed to beat most people I raced.

Considering her size, the Beluga has some impressive stats straight out of the box. Still, an excellent accomplishment.

You'll be alright. My first couple of weeks with the cutter I couldn't stand the off center cockpit. Couldn't stand the slow pitch and twist. Hated it so much I went out and grinded a corvette... Then I went back to the cutter... And I realized it was actually pretty fun... And I got used to the cockpit. You'll get there.

The only way to even tell that you rammed someone with a Cutter is if shields go to 99% for a second or two. Easy to miss that moment, especially with fast-charging class 8 bi-weaves.
Always cracks me up in hazRES when FDLs and FASs ram themselves to death and I barely notice anything lol.
Cutter may not be the most elegant PvE combat ship, but oh boy, it does get the job done.
Another thing I like about the Cutter is that you can make it a true allrounder. I basically use the same loadout now all the time, with a universal limpet controller and both SRV types on board. I even had a fighter hangar for a while but sold it because it didn't really add anything useful to the mix.

About the only time I sign up for a CG is if it coincides with something I am currently doing anyway. I just consider it a bonus.

Yeah I normally play in open and it’s usually fine, this fool was just taking pot shots at everyone. I don’t mind the danger as I’m ranked Master but a chance to fight back would’ve been nice

Yeah I normally play in open and it’s usually fine, this fool was just taking pot shots at everyone. I don’t mind the danger as I’m ranked Master but a chance to fight back would’ve been nice
