Unrelated... I would have been happy if players didn't go so berserk on the Titan's invasion and control systems last week so there was something left to do outside of Sol regarding AX (I don't consider the nebulas to be worthwhile). Frankly, trying to fight Hydras in an FDL the thermal performance of which is so absymal with a standard charge enhanced distributor that it constantly spikes above 20 when you fire two gauss at once, is just painful.

Why does that weapon even have worse heat than the modshards or plasmas anyway? The only thing which it is adept at is shooting Interceptors, which makes it an inadequate conflict zone weapon.

Could anybody tell me what would be the proper marker when to press pulse neutralizer key? I never went to maelstrom core before my timing is wrong.

After it's been released already. It takes some time for the wave to reach your ship, so when you see the wave, wait for a second or two, and then fire it when it gets close. It drains the systems capacitor real fast, so you can't hold it for a long time.

Thank you, It worked. I got 1,516 CG CR from the first run so I hope it is enough to receive 7 FSDs SCO fast boot. For cmdrs. who are interested, I did not change much on my KMKII, I kept 4 azimuth axmcs as main weapon just change beam/vent for torpedo, also replaced shutdown unit for extra caustic one and install pulse neutralizer instead of advanced xeno scanner, also change power plant for 6A low emission/thermo to keep my base temp. below 19. Will research if 1,516 credits are enough and if it is will go back to AXZLs since there is still one in SOL.

We are at over one third (36%) of Cocijo after two full days, with a mix of weekdays and weekends. I assume tonight and tomorrow will get it to way over two thirds so that the Titan will achieve meltdown state probably on Tuesday evening the latest. There is a small chance it might happen on Monday evening, but Tuesday looks more realistic, which would leave Wednesday evening (all times UTC plus/minus) for the big explosion. And then a CG for rebuilding Sol? Something for the traders and miners? What do you think, both when it comes to the big finale but also what comes after.

I was also wondering if all the speculations about a devastation of Earth are going to materialise. I have a hard time believing those, it seems like an extreme thing to do in a game where most of players just like to fly around and watch planets, stars and space.

Titan cocijo would lose 5 hearts already if it wasnt one station still operational which players were killing interceptors instead titan. Not cool, not cool at all.

It’s a game. If people want to have fun at a station conflict they will have fun there. I don’t care about hitting a Titan so it isn’t effort you would have had anyway.

And it’s more likely because Frontier raised the hitpoint pool of the Titan from 800 million (which it was on Thursday) to 2 billion, otherwise it would be dead soon (or already) instead of allowing people to properly participate in the weekend.

You can get back to usual stuff. You'll have to avoid Sol, but the other 40,000,000,000 stars in the galaxy are still fine, yeah?

Not need to start arguing me, okay? They simply don't contribute to killing the last titan. Unless you don't have to do it directly, if that in case, i didnt know.

The rewards are huge, clearly everyone would motivate to speed up a bit?

That's not enough, I still haven't find a way to get my ship immune to corrosion, even the Thargoids I bump into when farming materials near a Titan manage to disrupt my systems.

In short, my ships and weapons are not ready and I'm sure many players are in the same situation...

im aware many players did not reach to end game and i sacrificed my sanity to never bother unlocking stuff ever.

To put it briefly, I've met a few cmdrs who have everything unlocked just like me and they just didnt care to help with titan issue.

That made me upset a bit. Meanwhile some fresh ones were so eager to assist me.

I agree, but right now I'm loosing vs an Interceptor when before I was downing them like flies, my ship got entirely disabled 4/5 times and I just can't win this fight.

So unless there is a solution soon, I'm not gonna contribute to this part of the game: At 25.000.000 a sortie it's just not worth it.

I am visiting cojico solo, and I don't have any problems since Meowers hinted when to press neutralizer. The most difficult part is to hit as many heat vents as possible so far once I managed to do 5 but mostly 3-4 and then quickly maneuver close to exposed heart to shoot at it. The rest is quite manageable, I usually do 3 runs per trip.

Too bad the amount of posting in this chat, combined with real life stuff happening, crippled my ability to respond for more than a week, because there was some solid advice I would like to give…

First things first, @Thinder: To practice attacking the Titan, you really don’t need any of the Guardian stuff except the nanite torpedoes (which you can purchase for credits). Just slap either four EAXMCs or four AXMRs on your Python Mk II and you’re ready. You won’t be able to rack up as many credits as you would with 4 shard cannons with the AGZR mod, but you can still rack up plenty. (Here’s an example build.)

Geeeeeezus... That's new. Now that I have transfered the material to the Carrier, I can't recover them, retransfer to the ship for unlocking the Corrosion Resistant Cargo Racks.

Writing a ticket, I don't think I'm gonna be ready for the last chapter of the Thargoid invasion any time soon...

Here’s the already confirmed ticket (out of several that were written), in case you missed it.

Also, you don’t need the anti-corrosion cargo racks for Hardened Surface Fragments, nor for any other materials required for the AGZR mod (or any other blueprint, for that matter).

(Edit: Also, you can farm Caustic Crystals at the remains of any of the already destroyed Titans.)
