IndySo, adding Mass Manager worked for you? Or no?
Nope, I couldn't. Saw that button greyed out.

Bainsey7 edit: Also, my query above was my own mistake. I'd gone to Palin and mistaken the drive upgrades for FSD upgrades when I looked earlier. The drives on my Mandalay are stripped down and I saw that by mistake.

So, in the end, was I correct? Or my sanity fails me again? Lol. I totally remember installing the new FSD (and seeing that +0.something Ly boost it gave me), jumping to Martuuk and trying to apply a modification, but the button was greyed out and the text read that this module has been upgraded already. Also, I saw the G5 Long Range applied to it. Or maybe I had to relog or update or something... Too lazy to go there for the second time.

p.s.: "The bad news is that you're going to want to refit your entire fleet...": done!

hahaha damn you and your fleet-of-one!

I got between 2 and 3 light years increase for each ship once I'd changed over. It seems that mass manager went onto them all with no hassles anyway and it seems that, as in the video there, it says to make more they can be crafted at human tech brokers. But, when I went there it seems they only do size 5's. The most common by far but still, just them.
As for the free ones for me, the size 7 went in the Evacu-Cutter for that end of the spectrum but the only ships that take a size 2 are the Hauler and the Sidewinder and, like, do I care?

I never really bothered replacing the drives of “all” my ships, only the ones I use more/most frequently. As I would/might with these pre-engineered ones (if I can be bothered with those, right now I’m only looking at my explorer, and some ships use C-rated SCOs for the reason of lower overcharge heat generation).

MeowersSo I'm yet to figure out whether or not that new drive is a good thing for me. Depends on what I'm going to do in the game after the Titans of course...

For what it’s worth, that odd derelict Titan noise/“signal” that has people buzzing would suggest it’s probably not too long before we know what Thargoid madness comes next.

Though perhaps I wouldn’t mind myself a quieter holiday week or two to focus on some other things for a little.

Big boom soon. Should I get into position inside the Maelstrom in the asteroids near the Titan? Or is that too close?
If Cocijo does what other Titans did, it’s going to boot you out of the cloud to a safe distance. But maybe take extra precautions here in case Frontier prepared some surprises with the last Titan’s meltdown. Though it is still some three hours until then.

I should not be awake for this.

You SHOULD be awake for this, obviously. What else is so important? Sleep?!

So, I don't have to move my ship, if I'm already parked in the safe zone of the Maelstrom? Or should I fly to the center as planned? (I just want to get the view right, as I'm bringing along some friends to watch via telepresence.)

You'll get kicked out of the center, usually, but get some additional views. If you just remain outside, you still get the main show regardless and see what comes out of the center before it.

Did anyone manage to catch Cocijo go boom?

Like many people, I chose sleep. Now, a day of quiet before we get a cut scene telling us that the titan broadcasts were saying 'merry christmas and peace on earth'.
Let's hope now the thargoids are vanquished, Fdev can try to fix the BGS. Or do you think they've intentionally bjorked it so we have to engage with powerpoint2.0?

Don't you think that those 8 Titans decals have that awkward gap in the top centre, and that a big star would fit there just fine, pushing the existing 8 stars down the circle?

Thoughts about a super Titan boss nobody else knows about yet, because my tinfoil hat is thick enough to be considered an armour piece.

QuillmonkeyDid anyone manage to catch Cocijo go boom?

I did, it gave off some strange sounds when it exploded that no other Titan did when they went, and there was another odd transmission-like burst which followed shortly after the detonation.

Analysis so far has not yet been too conclusive but one odd and interesting-looking spectrograph reading (or whatever) has emerged which resembles the Guardian structure layouts from an aerial view. Don’t think it’s a coincidence…

Had I gone after those my perfectionist would be annoyed at the lack of a complete circle. Right now I feel we’ll have a bit of a break from this damned Thargoid madness over the winter holidays though. If not, well, I was really planning to do something else that doesn’t involve angry space flowers.

And you’re not the only one who has issued the thought of a bigger ship showing up, but not that it would be destructible for a ninth star. And then it would be an uneven number while Thargoids really like 8.

IndyHopefully, they'll make it so the pre-eng SCOs can take Mass Manager soon

I guess the reason behind it is the same one which doesn't allow you to ramtah Modshards. Game registers those drives as already fully engineered, with both gradual and extra effects applied.

That’s different. Ram Tah’s AGZR is a blueprint, and modshards already have another blueprint (Long Range) applied to them.

As would I. Well, we’ll see…

Right now it is suspected to be a fake, though.

I did as well. And I was sure to capture a lot of photos and videos.
Here's one screenshot I uploaded here to Inara of the moment the Titan started exploding; I have so many others too on Steam and elsewhere.

I am beginning to see that emerge as well. I'm not really surprised, but is still is a shame people have to be like that, for... what? Draw attention to themselves?
