It's interesting to see how the aftermath of the Thargoid incursion into Sol now left all the systems around it as "unoccupied" and basically up for grabs in powerplay 2.0. Do you expect that we see major shifts occurring between Federation and Empire associated powerplay actors? Or will these systems fall back into place (with Archer) in the coming days/weeks?

Not so funny is the current state of bgs. Thus I decided to extend my absence from the Bubble. It almost looks like that all the actions made by a pledged commander go to the PP2 power base, and this is not working for many. Neither for me so slowing down my return, mainly hoping the PMF I'm supporting is still present when I get back.

Cobra 3 vs. Clipper vs. Other?
For no/low engineering mining while I'm in Colonia.

I may not be able to find the Clipper and many others around here anyway, but I'm still curious to hear from the group. I'm hoping for a straightforward mining build that will be quick to put into use, ideally for both laser mining and core.

Edit: I think I'm going to go with a Python instead. (Couldn't get a Clipper outside the Bubble.)
I'll welcome any mining advice, as this will be my first try at it outside of training simulations.

Why can't I find Abel Laboratory in Arque. Seems I have palin unlocked, flying around arque like a noob and can't see anywhere to get these small cargo racks!

from Elite Dangerous Wiki - Corrosion Resistant Cargo Rack

Class 1 modules are exclusively sold at two locations: Abel Laboratory on Arque 4 e and Cinder Dock on Shenve A 6, the workshops of the Engineers Ishmael Palin and Chloe Sedesi, respectively. Class 4 modules can be unlocked through a Human Technology Broker, and are then available for purchase at any station where a Human Technology Broker is present

I just checked and Abel Laboratory is still there.

It’s on the surface of Arque 4 E. Maybe you filtered out planetary settlements?

From Marco Qwent (grade 3-4).

MEETING REQUIREMENTS FOR PALIN
Attain a maximum distance from your career start location of at least 5,000 light years.

You only fully unlocked him after you met the meeting requirement. He should sent you an invite then.

Scan the Beacon if necessary, select Settlements in your filter and browse...

Perhaps the station is too far (2,411 Ls) from the star to show if the beacon haven't been scanned...

Stations are not like POIs. They either show in the navigation tab regardless of the distance, or do not show at all.

I think the OP either has settlements filtered out, or has not actually unlocked Palin yet.
