James HussarI haven't tried the Kids DLC yet. It sounds like a horrible grind, but in time allows you to develop your own faction. Anyone play it, who cares to weigh in?
I tried this DLC very late in the game, and though I was only going to download Season 1, a consequence of the Marriage DLC was to subscribe to Season 2 of the Kids as well. many Pros and Cons to the timing aspect. As for the DLC, it does involve a lot of grinding, costs quite a few credits, and that number will rise incredibly high later in the game.
That said, it can be incredibly rewarding at times as well as being soul crushing at others. It adds many elements of of surprise and unpredictability to the game and on balance makes for more interesting experience. Unfortunately, once started you can't really STOP playing it

Mostly bent on hunting down ships for merits, but I wanted a slight twinge for PvP.
How well do y'all think it would fair?

AsagaoSurprised not to see the CG better attended - it's 300k return just for taking part, 5 hours still to go...
I agree!! I spent the first part of the week grinding away in an ASP to get to the 50% mark, then traveled about 400 LY to pick up my Vulture and head over to Nespeleve for the BH CG. The Skortsov Orbital CG barely moved and the BH CG (as usual) is generating great returns so I would have been better off (credit-wise) by doing this from the beginning and skipping the TRADE CG.
I like the premise, though, so glad to help move inebriants for the celebration!!! o7

Managed top 10% in the trade CG but only to 60% in the BH CG. Had to restrict myself to the Nav Beacon due to only having my trading Python with me. Still, a profitable week with just over 11 million credits rewards.
Might take some time off now to de-stress.
