I hadn't thought of the third possibility before but that certainly makes sense, humans are beneath them and they see our existence and presence in what they see as their space as an inconvenience kinda like we do if we get an invasion of ants in our own house and all they're trying to do is exactly what we would do.

I think Ram Tah's affiliation with Aegis is momentous. He refused Sirius' overtures (didn't want to corporate-privatize the technology, perhaps?), so he must be feeling the same impending tidal wave from the 'goids as much as the rest of us. With intersystem governments finally involved in funding, I think we're going to see some unprecedented investments and accessibility for Guardian tech.

has anyone heard anyone heard anything deeper about this partnership?
I keep hearing rumors about full guardian hybrid integrated ships? my sources aren't reliable I'm hoping someone can confirm.

I've heard those rumors since the first guardian modules. Do what I do, take it with a pinch of sodium chloride. Take all of it you've saved up since the first rumor, put it on the rims of a bunch of margarita glasses and throw a party.

I take any with some good old NaCl. I figured it was a load of biowaste.
I just wanted to be optimistic.

I had actually not thought of hybrid ships; I am thinking that access to Guardian modules could be greatly simplified. Less salt needed to swallow that.

According to Guardian Technology Log 3, their medicine was far more advanced than ours currently is, so in the near future we might be able to cure the Collywobbles or even the Mulligrubs. This partnership knows no bounds!

Good! I've had a nasty case of Mulligrubs for a while and I've tried everything but they just won't die!

Perhaps it will cure us of this "assroot" that has stricken us to the confines of our pilots chairs and prevents us from walking around.

I'm not holding my breath.

A long hot bath usually helps with the itching.

Bjorn Gudmundson"War is a racket. It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes." - Maj. General Smedley D. Butler, USMC (1881-1940)

He wrote a hell of a book too.

War is the continuation of politics, whith other means.

War is literally the failure of politics. Cannons were called the last argument of Kings for a reason.

Yeah but what's pathetic is how many of these "kings" would actually fight in the wars that they claim to believe in. It's almost never about political views or even moral or religious views. It's about profit and power. Most of the time wars are masked behind these views to get the support of the people so they can get people to fight their wars when in reality these moral and religious doctrines teach against violence unless it's a necessity. So these parasitic rulers feed the populace a series of half truths and lies about the other side that would constitute war. "Potestatis est corrumpere et." (Power corrupts) this is why I'm an Anarchist. "Sic semper evello mortem tyranius" (thus death should always come to tyrants)

I came across a Mic Turner NPC in a T9 doing Aislin's biding and almost crashed my ship into the station walls
