I only see a innocent federal corporation operating lawfully under the federal charter of free commerce kindly asking CMDRs to bring their illegally acquired slaves so they can free them out of pure goodwill. Ain't nothing wrong with that.

Take a look at their commodities market. Stiegler Dock buys slaves and sells Imperial slaves. Looks like one of those "training facilities" the ISA operates. Except this one has not a single Imperial faction involved.

Asking questions about Alliance and possibly working with Thargoids in secret: Plausible or just tin-foil hat conspiracy theory?
I'm still somewhat new to the lore of the Elite galaxy.

It has been 25 years, but I am pretty sure that was the plot of Elite 3 First Encounters.

Oh, that's plausible. The Alliance does some shady things behind that vale of goodness.

ShabbyjIt has been 25 years, but I am pretty sure that was the plot of Elite 3 First Encounters.


While that game is not canon anymore (only Elite: Dangerous is, according to FDev), they still provide inspiration to current stories. So, I would currently call that a rumour (at least until the current story says it's true).

I thought I was just being paranoid or just overthinking things.
There really is a lot of hidden lore in this game.
