Knightwolf 1785It's still around but just not in game like the Boa MKIII. I won't lie: I'd love to see one of them flying in game. The fun thing about these huge ships is you can still land them on a planet. They even have a listing for exploration builds in the supplement. Think of them as the flying base some of us have wanted from the Type-10.
I think this trend will be more fitted in "Game Talk" than the "Lore".

All this situation is becoming more muddy as time goes by...
I don't know who's behind the incredibly suspicious NMLA, but I will happily point out how convenient it is for some people - and it could well just be that the NMLA is convenient for Hudson and he's just a ruthlessly effective politician, hell someone might even be trying to frame him by making it all this convenient. Whatever it is, the NMLA is very suspicious and has certainly been receiving outside support.
Besides, an interesting conspiracy seems like a good fun storyline for ED, and it would certainly make good writing.
It's definitely muddy.
My thoughts were focused on the information that was released about the NMLA using a similar comms system to the League of Reparation.
When Neve Seutonia took over the NMLA gig and then was suddenly killed I realised they never found the body of the Leagues organiser and it could be the case the ImperialAgent was killed deliberately.
Friends have suggested the NMLA seem more bloodthirsty than the league was but I gotta say genealogical terrorism seems as bad as indiscriminate bombing campaigns.
So in my view the NMLA are the League of Reparation reborn and retasked.
Question is, why?

Reportedly many Marlinists are very angry "that [MNLA] have made all Marlinists look like monsters". But I didn't see any Marlinist volunteering to fight for Empire in the Mudhrid War.
They are losing systems, and I bet they are losing ranks to the NMLA Terrorists. They need to be recognized as a valuable asset to Empire and not enemies, and perhaps this will bring some peaceful reassurance to Marlinist people. Desperate people are easily lured to radicalism. "Nothing else to lose" and all that.

The first thing I thought of was Metatron's Cube but it's only hexagons and circles... I've had a look through some of my books but haven't found a closer match than that though.

Vinh Kruczek-Lengyel I'd risk the statement that Frontier copies the idea from Expanse in regard to certain events that happen in Season 5 and respective novels from which the TV show is adapted.

If this is true, E:D lore -- extremely timid compared to astonishing Elder Scrolls' Lore, for example -- will disappoint as a narrative without originality.
And the most sad thing in a supposed MMORP game's lore without originality is its lack of a soul, a real immersive universe of discoveries.
I hope Fdevs are taking E:D lore seriously. Since Odyssey Alpha release I'm having a unnerving sense of superficiality in the game. As if ED creators decided to leave immersion and Lore in second place and focus on a "Space Call of Duty".
I hope not. I hope there is a real interest by Frontier to give ED an original Lore. Elder Scrolls Online has a fantastic cast of actors to voice its main NPC characters. ED's voices are not so famous as far as I know, but I hope all its Lore's characters, stories and future surprises are true. And Odyssey will bring us a wonderful immersive game, not a mere "first person shooting on the stars" virtual hobby.
Let's see.

That is another interesting point. I wonder if the Neo-Marlinist Order of Mudhrid were really as deeply involved in the terrorist attacks as Empire Intelligence say so. Somehow they seem to fit very well in the "Scapegoat" suit.

In this case, what would be the NMLA's purpose to do that? Remember that Landgrave Arastin Delacroix, the NMOM leader, simply vanished. Empire agents couldn't find him after his faction defeat. NMOM had very little chance to victory, not to mention Mudhrid is practically in Empire's backyard. That's horrible strategy for a war.
