Time to Think

Well now that's over and half that savings I had for my own ship is gone, but I couldn't just leave all those people stranded there on that colony ship and talking them into the Paradiso deal of making them indentured servants wasn't an ethical option. Back to investigating that hidden base, So a few days later, a much lighter purse, and a grav-drive installed, we are finally back on course for Denebola I-B to see if we can find that secret base. This is the first time I've had a kid on board, and as much as Sam thinks it's okay and that she's safe locked inside, I still insisted on bringing Vasco to at least guard her and the ship. The base already had spacers checking it out so there was that to deal with. But damn it wasn't worth it. Instead of calling me Captain, the Constellation crew can call me Captain Mantis now, I guess. Instead of buying my own ship, I'll just take this Razorleaf, thank you very much, and use the credits instead on upgrades. I flew it back to New Atlantis and Sam flew the Frontier back. I'll be upgrading my new ship's shields first if Cora's going to be hanging out with us. Now back to the Lodge, upgrade weapons while upgrades to my new ship are installed.

Sarah wants me to go to the Eye to meet Vladimir and pick up some more leads to artifacts. Tuala wants me to join the Vanguard. Sgt Yummy, I mean Yumi, wants me to join UC Security, and the rangers in Akila want me to be a deputy. Sooo many directions at once. I think I'm going to take some time out and more thoroughly explore the planets I've visited already. Walk about. Clear my head. Get some more experience under my boost belt.
