Another universe, another layer of cynicism. I'm actually friendlier with the Hunter at this point after the Emissary chastised me for keeping my Starborn status hidden from the Constellation crew. What was I supposed to do? Just waltz in and say, "Hi, I'm a Starborn, now give me all your artifacts and let me tell you all about this secret?" The Emissary refused to tell us who they were in my home-universe, kept it all secret. Why shouldn't I protect my own people with my own secret by not dropping that in their lap?At least I was able to save them all. Despite keeping my Starborn status a secret from them, they trusted me when I told them we had to get all the artifacts out of the Lodge. They handed them over and I installed the Armillary on my ship. Everyone stayed alive this time, and the Hunter was even amused by it and promised to not kill any of them...in this life at least.
So, here I am. Another Universe. I expected something, I don't know, different this time? But nope. I'm in exactly the same point I was in during the last universe. Same people in Constellation. Same Him and his daughter. So this time, I told them the truth. Laid it all out there. I expect I will spend much less time in this universe. I can't bear to be around Him.
So just to change things up, I died my hair pink, let it grow out a tad, and let my dead looking Starborn eyes shine.
