Companion skills
The companion skills function differently than the player's skills, usually providing just passive bonuses. They do stack with the player's skill bonuses, but not with other companion's skills (a higher value is used). You can see more details in the list below or on the respective skill page.
Physical
Skill | Description |

Stealth | Rank 1: Followers no longer set off enemy mines. Rank 2: Companion is 25% harder to detect when sneaking. Rank 3-4: Follower gains a Chameleon-like effect when motionless and sneaking. |
Weight Lifting | Rank 1: Increase the follower’s carrying capacity by a total of 15 kg. Rank 2: Increase the follower’s carrying capacity by a total of 30 kg. Rank 3-4: Increase the follower’s carrying capacity by a total of 60 kg. |
Wellness | Rank 1: Increase the follower’s health by a total of 15 points. Rank 2: Increase the follower’s health by a total of 30 points. Rank 3-4: Increase the follower’s health by a total of 60 points. |
Energy Weapon Dissipation | Rank 1: Energy damage is reduced by 10% for the follower. Rank 2: Energy damage is reduced by 20% for the follower. Rank 3-4: Energy damage is reduced by 30% for the follower. |
Pain Tolerance | Rank 1: Physical damage is reduced by 10% for the follower. Rank 2: Physical damage is reduced by 20% for the follower. Rank 3-4: Physical damage is reduced by 30% for the follower. |
