Day 4 - Something witty about humanity

It's been 4 days since I left the mine behind. I was hesitant at first to trust this Barrett character, but perhaps that was a good idea. I told the Constellation folk that I need time to digest all of...well...this. I have my own spaceship with a working grav drive. I am, by all means, free. At least freer than when I stole that shuttle from some asshole back on Neon. Bastard didn't even have a grav drive, just thrusters. Took ages to get to the moon and back. Ah well, that's the past.My adventures have been interesting to say the least, though a bit...well...I just. I never expect people to open fire so readily, even now, even when I'm told to go chase down pirates. I always expect both parties to have some hesitancy to the whole thing but no. Instead you just end up getting shot while your guard is down. And it hurts. Particle weapons not so much, my suit is good at keeping those at bay, but bullets? Those immediately knock the wind out of me. And it hurts. At least everyone has helmets on. I don't have to remember the faces of those laid to rest by my hand. And at least it's in self defense.
The exploration is nice. I surveyed one whole planet for Constellation and located a gaseous font for them! I need to see what else I can do before I continue helping them more directly. I never realized how empty everything is though...so empty...so devoid of anything but rocks. Plenty of resources for the taking, assuming a dedicated miner wasn't there first. I still need to start setting up my outposts, that'll be today's dedication.
I did find one interesting cave. Reminded me of this old earth game...Skyrim I think was the name. It was interesting to come across it. I'll attach a picture.
I also found this interesting crystal formation! So shiny...couldn't take any though.
