Fly, little eagle, fly!

Entered the ship. All necessary available. A bed, science station, even a little kitchen. Pretty cozy. The best place to live in a long time. Should try to get it flying. The robot, name's Vasco, told me it'll as easy as riding a bike.

Sat down in the cockpit. Lot of buttons, displays and two joysticks. Reminds me more of playing video games, than riding a bike.
Got some support from vasco. Finally we are in space and I know how to manoeuvre it about. Unfortunalty three crimson fleet ships were on watch. Unfortunatly for them, as it turned out. They were no more than a few target practice exercises. This gives me new courage to face the pirate captain.

Vasco localized a potential pirate hideout on a nearby moon named Kreet. Will investigate it. Still haven't got any money for the mining job. If it turns out Vasco is right, it might pay out well. At least I kept the ore and the attackers' stuff. Will sell it later on.

Landed nearby an abandoned research lab. There is a small number of plants on the moon and even some alien animals live there. Guess the pirates have to wait for a while. I want to take some samples and have a closer look at them at the science station on the ship first. Some real field science. Yeehaa!

Found three different types of plants so far. Also three alien animal species. They were pretty agressive and I had to fight them off by uing my mining laser. Made it easier for me to take samples off of their corpses. Good thing, I learned bit more about handling lasers. Still not an expert, but that thing doesn't seen to be that heavy anymore. The planets surface got an abudance of spots to mine lead and silver. The latter might be worth to start a mining operation somehwere out there, but I'm afraid I dont have the money to buy some automated mining equipment.

On my way back I stumbled into something interesting by chance. A natural pool of poisenous liquid with some strange eroded rock formations. Some of them are formed like an arc. In a geology lecture the professor called something like this deep sea occurrence as I recall. About time to head back to the ship.

The air is hardly breathable. My lungs burn and I already started to cough a while ago when fleeing from a terrormorph. Luckily the robot drew it's attention on him. Didn't know how Vasco managed to come back to the ship in one piece after all.

About time to take care of the crimson pirates.
