Captain's log 1# - The adventure has begun

I have always considered myself as an explorer. But unfortunately, due to my background and family, I couldn't follow the path of my dreams and do the job I wanted. Instead, I got to be a miner. But one day, luck, or rather fate, changed everything. Anyway, I found aa strange relic, had an interesting experience with it and a guy named Berrett just gave me his ship and his robot. I still don't understand why
but a free ship is a free ship, right? Who would turn down an offer like that. So I finally got out of that dirty job. Maybe miss Lynn
and the rest of the guys, but not the job and the life that came with it. But the guy was followed by pirates, the Crimson Fleet. Maybe
that's why he gave up his ship? Who knows. Anyway, he said I should go to the Constallation anyway. Yes right. The f@*#cking Constellation,
the team I always wanted to be a part of. The greatest explorers, so I could roam the infinite cosmos as an adventurer.
we'll pick up some loot along the way. But the robot said we had to take care of the remaining pirates first, so we went to some abandoned research station.
I found an audio log that revealed they were using alien beasts for combat, but some kind of Terromorph creature got loose
and killed everyone. Fortunately I never met the beast, I don't know how long ago that was but I did meet pirates. I'm not a soldier.
but I can pull a trigger, and I did. I hit one of the pirate's jetpack that sent him flying into the air and into the ceiling.
That was funny. After we cleaned the place out I met the pirate leader who was supposedly following the Frontier, not Berret, because he thought it was full
with treasure because it belonged to the Constallation. Well, I told him he was wrong and he believed me. Who would have thought a rational pirate. Good thing
I didn't have to talk to spacers. Common sense wouldn't have worked with them. So now I'm in New Atlantis. I'm gonna do a little recon before
I go over there with the Constallation guys. There's some dude in a tree I gotta check out. Looks interesting. Oh, and I got a watch from Beret
which is quite useful, and it even tells the time, sometimes. I'm using my scanner to explore everything. End of log.
