Quest stages

I discovered target person on planet who have been threatened by hostile creatures nearby. I'll need to locate their lair and eliminate them to make the area safe to inhabit.
Objective: Clear all hostile creatures from the target location (/)
The hostile creatures in target location no longer pose a threat. I should return to the quest giver to let them know.
Objective: Return to the quest giver
I let the quest giver know that they no longer need to worry about the hostile creatures nearby.
The quest giver is dead.
