Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

PIcard is excellent. So simple, does exactly what it says on the tin. Well done!

Drifty1938Does anyone know why missions on the Xbox one get failed straight away as soon as you accept them? any insight to this would be appreciated.

Do you get a blank message along with it? I often get a similar bug on PC where I'll accept a mission and a few seconds later get 'Mission Failed' and a message with no text and a skull icon. I can normally fix it by closing the game and reopening it.

I can confirm this. Seem purely random. I fail all a lot of high paye d  missions instantly. Have to relog and MOST of the times its gone.

I'm having a slight issue with the outfitting page. When I search for passenger cabins of any type I get the none for 300 light years message. I get this message no matter what current location I set. Could someone help please.

Been a while since I went shopping for cabins, but is is my recollection that Inara reports for locations for them didn't work then either. You should filter your search to High-Tech, High-population systems and you should find them quickly.

SoriasSireBlue prints for Efficient Weapon Beam Lasers exist for both The Dweller and Broo Tarquin, please add them to their pages.

Good to know. Curious why you have a pic for a lightweight mod.

Was just too lazy to get a proper screenshot since I was about to take off. Proper screenshots for Overcharged and Efficient Beam lasers up to level 3, because I don't have Broo unlocked yet, right here(link to the image gallery http://imgur.com/a/M1tcA):

Not sure if anyone has already mention, but I've read a response from FDEV and they are aware and investigating.

Guys,

Considering that Artie hasn't been on for over a month, maybe we should start accepting that inara will be abandoned at some point.

Even though I'm still using it and it's still very useful, I'd like to plan for an exit before it stops responding because I have invested too much time and added too much stuff to let it disappears in the ether.

So, I would like to start migrating what I can to another site.

The question is: is there any other site similar to inara?

Artie hasn't abandoned Inara.

At some point people have to accept that his life doesn't revolve around Inara and that his reaction might take time.

The most similar site is probably ED Board
The fundamental difference is though that there is no Wings support.

If you've written any logbooks, I'd suggest backing them up to either Word or Google Docs if you haven't already. And while Artie's long absence has certainly been strange, I wouldn't say the sky is falling just yet, as he's mentioned that the donations he's received ought to pay the server costs for a good long while. I don't think there's any harm in at least keeping your options open, though.

I would ask everyone to cut Artie a few light years of slack. Running Inara is a hobby and a community service he performs out of the goodness of his heart, when he has time available. Even those who have contributed donations should not feel like Artie *owes* them anything. Inara is not a business.

Artie has, through Inara, shown that he has a very valuable skillset. It is nobody's business why he's been away from the site, but I'm imagining there's a very demanding work project that is taking up way more time than expected. Hopefully he is being paid handsomely for it. Hopefully that's all it is.

There are many things that could take me away from a hobby and off-line. Work is one. Personal or family matters could be another. If a family member of mine got sick, for example (and I'm praying this is not what Artie is facing) NONE of my hobbies would see me for the duration, and possibly for much longer.

Maybe he's won the lottery and is on an extended holiday in the tropics. Maybe he's been kidnapped by sex-starved aliens and they won't release him until he teaches them everything he knows, and so things are taking a while. Who knows?!

The site he's built here is running very well in his absence. Sure, there's a bit of dust in some of the corners, but overall, things are just fine.

I, for one, send my best wishes to Artie so that whatever is keeping him away resolves in the best possible way. A
