Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

ArtieGaladrialWill you be using time stamps when getting data from system/faction data from EDDB so that if there is newer data in Inara it won't get overwritten?
Will you be grabbing things periodically through the day or will it be a 24 hours delayed view from EDDB using the files API?
Is the master record of data EDDB now and so manual updates better done in ROSS?
I want to point out to one pretty common misconception: EDDB is not the same as EDDN. Although EDDB is really great site, it is something completely different than EDDN.
So - yes, the timestamps will be used. Yes, things will be grabbed periodically near real-time. No, any changes made on EDDB via ROSS won't be reflected here, because those changes aren't submitted to EDDN.
Ah ok thanks, I didn't know that as I'm an Xbox player so can't use all these PC tools but am trying to get some friends on PC to use the right ones. At the moment I'm having to do a lot manually.

ZATZAiYah I don't seem to be able to import my Log Files either. Getting the error "Error: No date/time found in *.log file." It's working with EDMC and EDSM but not here on Inara sadly. I can pass a sample of one of my log files if it'll help...

Heya! Oh I went way out into the black on the Distant Worlds Expedition, had a computer failure and generally life got in the way of getting back into the game. Been keeping track of things and decided to start up again when 2.3 came out. Still working my way back towards the bubble. Enjoying some of the new features though. Being able to hop in someone else's ship to stave off space madness is pretty nice.

OlympianUpdated my signature (pressed "Save button in URL https://inara.cz/cmdr-misc/...) and a new sig was created. I had used "profile image" as "Left side" but it seems my profile image was not large enough so it appeared at the upper-left corder of the block reserved for sig-image and it had a right-down black border. Is there a way to force an auto-resize of the profile image so it fits in the signature?
Please re-upload your profile image via Settings, it should work now...

Same thing here, was searching for Ship plus fitting, without ship it works.
Heh maybe a join is missing there for ships table ( if its constructed like that and there is any )

They are now auto-updated by data coming via EDDN network from tools like EDMC, EDDI and EDDiscovery near real-time. I hope it will save you some time with minor factions updating.

Just to clarify this Artie, because I'm a bit slow on the uptake...
Will EDDN update the faction Names, States and Influence levels when I visit a system and these are published on INARA?
