Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Not sure If we've broached the subject before but can't find anything in this (not Uber-long) dev discussion thread.
Have you given any thought to adding awards on here which can be given by flight leaders etc to their pilots.
Would be nice to have the option to name 3/4 Awards (which can be set to a generic little pic like the ranking pictures, in terms of lowest to highest) which we can put against pilots
So we could award Pilot x a rank one award. Pilot Y a rank two award, then maybe Another rank one award for Pilot X because he did the same things again
We're trying to give our pilots as much incentive as possible to sign up over on Inara and we're doing ok so far, but this would help us get them all over, I hope.
Just a thought anyway. As ever, things keep growing and improving here beyond what I thought was already great a month ago!

- New feature: Outfitting section in Galaxy, where you can search for stations selling equipment and ships you need (thanks to Otis B. and EDDN guys for data)
- Galleries: to minimize our gallery cluttering, where great images are often drowned in other stuff I added few simple rules for image/video posting. These are displayed on image/video add page, so please read them before posting. Also, some images are archived after some time and not further displayed in the main gallery.
- Wing management improvements: Discord widget (options in wing settings), removed lock for Flight leader promotions, flight names in roster overview in Flight edit, auto promote button in roster edit
- Various other improvements: rankings positions and game/role/style info in CMDR profiles, list of commanders who liked your stuff in "Shiny" tooltip, direct links to discussion posts, etc.

Yes, I have something like that planned. I am still not sure if I should merge this with honorary titles feature mentioned earlier or not. Also I am not sure if where should be some simple "award designer" tool where you can set up your award (it's name and how it looks like) or leave it completely opened and each wing can create award visuals by their own (image file upload). Both approaches has their pros and cons, unfortunately mixing both may provide terrible results.

ad 2] Previously it was not possible to promote/demote Flight leader assigned to some flight. Now it is possible (he will left the flight automatically when promoted and stay in the flight as regular member when demoted).

If was actually thinking about some customization for predefined awards like each award will consists from 2-4 pieces and anyone can design it from these pieces by their own. But that's just an initial idea, so we will see...
ParamemeticIs it possible to make a change so we can choose what rank we want to autopromote to? We don't usually use the "recruit" rank but we leave almost everyone at "pilot." Right now it seems we can only autopromote to "senior wingman."

It was meant as "up to", so usually members gets promoted to Pilot and just those which are in the wing long enough will get Wingman or Senior wingman ranks. But, I added additional select menu for it right now, so the maximum rank for Auto promote can be set.
Laynor Luna Lagoonai think that this Outffiting & shipyard tools is lacking one important thing:
The name of the system we are. (distance from.... where?)
maybe you can reuse that "Select system" in the market tab
Actual system set is in the bottom of the listing already.

I like the idea of that. That sound awesome (as long as one of the pieces isn't a huge double ended dildo...)
Also, while you're here. If I expand the text box for typing (this big white thing) using the expansion grabber, downwards is fine but it'll let you expand it out of the light grey and into the dark grey, which means you then can't see it (and some text)...
It's ok now I have gotten used to it but somebody will shout about it at some point

@Laynor, there is random.org for all your role-playing dice needs. No need to reinvent the wheel here. The article you cite is horribly misguided I'm afraid. Weak pseudo-random number generators seeded with the current date are laughable.

But anyway, if i asked that tool, that's not for a personnal reason, but for the whole member of my team. And we push the roleplay far inside it.
We also try to interact with other wings for this roleplay. So a simple dice's tool is not That big.
Using another website or roll real dice just front of our computer doesn't have sense.
