Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Watson Station is marked on the station list but I'm in LTT 377 and no such station exists. Screenshot can be provided if necessary once Xbox DVR updates

TartyDorisThis page: https://inara.cz/galaxy-blueprint/70/ contains inaccurate data for the "Power Distributor - Weapon focused (Grade 3)"

You have the ingredients listed for the System/Shields focused upgrade instead.

Just wasted two hours of gameplay gathering all the ingredients and then getting to Marco Qwent only to find out I've been collecting the wrong stuff!!!!

Wasted? Two whole hours, huh? Last year, I paid $60 for me, my wife and my brother-in-law to see "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" (it was in 3D, so you know the Studio had Faith in it!).

That movie cost $40 Million to make, and grossed about $27 Million, globally, so, you know, MAJOR loss.

I walked out after about 10 minutes because I could feel myself getting stupider with each passing moment. I ate my over-priced popcorn and looked at the "coming soon" posters in the Cinema lobby while I waited for my my wife and BIL to work their way through the "sunk cost" fallacy and realize their time could be better spent doing something, anything, other than watching that abortion of a movie.

They joined me in the lobby about 10 minutes later. I suspect my leaving made them feel a bit dumb but I owed it to them to let them decide for themselves that 2 hours of their life had more value than the $60 I had paid for it.

All told, we wasted about an hour of human brain-time between the three of us, and sixty bucks - about a tank and a half of gas - maybe 500 miles (about the distance from Milan to Berlin, or from DC to Ontario) . We then went across town and spent about $100 on sushi and had some great conversation and really good food. It was a lovely evening. We enjoyed each other's company, got some nourishment and learned a valuable lesson.

I wish I had my $60 back. I wish we had our collective hour of mental time back. I wish that $40 Million used to make that cinematic abortion could instead go to feed homeless people, or to Planned Parenthood so the next generation of Paul Anderson could be killed while still a zygote and this entire franchise could just die with them. But, you know what, that's none of my business.

My point is two-fold.

1. Artie owes you nothing. Whatever time you "waste", in Elite or on Inara, or using Inara data to inform how you play Elite, is your responsibility. Artie does a great job helping the lot of us have a better time at wasting our time doing something that, in the grand scheme of things, matters a lot less than fucking - which itself in the grand scheme of things doesn't fucking matter. Sometimes Inara's data isn't correct. Be part of the community and report it so it can be fixed, but remember - Artie still doesn't owe you anything.

2. You had fun "wasting" those two hours, didn't you? Didn't you? It was a nice break from whatever it is you stopped doing to play a video game. Shame on you for implying that Artie wasted your time by not keeping Inara's data pristine enough for you to get a non-existent improvement to a non-existent spaceship that you fly around a non-existent galaxy while taking a break from whatever you should be doing with your life. It's a video game. Get over yourself. If Inara isn't helpful to you, go to Marco Qwent, write down what materials you need on a piece of paper and go find them for yourself without using the FREE tool that is Inara to help you.

You had fun, and regardless of the data being correct or not, you have exactly as much to show for it after the fact. Go enjoy some sushi. Try something new. You might no like it, but you'll learn for next time.

Artie is much too kind, too generous with his time and talent, and too much of a gentleman to have his time wasted by ingrates. He deserves better - you don't.

More coffee anyone?

Fella already apologised Ghostly One but I liked the Resident Evil tip: confirmed a suspicion without wasting my money.

Also, looking at the Engineers section I've only just noticed that there's a lightweight armour set of blueprints. So, thanks again. Although it looks like that requires a re-tooling to go mining for making friends with Selene Jean. Goal set. Sweet.

Ever since I've started to use the EDMC plugin to automatically update my credit balance on Inara, my total assets are wrong. They are missing the roughly 800k in stored modules. It would be nice to be able to add them to Inara's calculation.

It's the same for me, maybe a future update will solve this issue ..

Good site for tracking engineers data is at scotty.newlevels.org, everything is up to date and correct for most of blueprints.

Thank you for the info, that station was removed. It seems it was some glitch in one app sending data to EDDN (which should be now fixed).

I am aware of this. I am currently working on a proper stored modules tracking, will be there in few days.

Well... new feature is here - journals import! At this moment it updates your ranks and cargo/materials. You will find the import via button in Ranks and Cargo sections of your CMDR profile. If there will be any errors, please let me know.

This is awesome Artie! Everyone is gonna love this!

I forgot to mention that journal import on cargo page also updates ranks and vice versa. There is no need to upload the same journal twice. I rather mention it somewhere.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to do - browsers doesn't accept any predefined values in file inputs for a security reason.
