Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Excellent work!! Thank you Artie

Even with the advent of automatic updating of (active) states,  I was hoping to be able to include keeping a record of pending states, even if it meant a manual input.  Would there be any chance of adding a column in the section where the other data is shown that we can update manually?

Secondly, a record was noted of when the last (manual) update was completed - will there be a similar date stamp with the automatic updates

ArtieUpdate about minor factions updates.
They are now auto-updated by data coming via EDDN network from tools like EDMC, EDDI and EDDiscovery near real-time. I hope it will save you some time with minor factions updating.

Fantastic, thanks Artie. This will save so much time!

@Artie something weird is going on with minor factions like here (SJC), it shows presence in much less systems as this MF really is and its visible also when confronted with stations list owned by SJC. Can be this checked please?

Screenshot of state in my post time:

And here is link to eddb (12 systems with SJC presence, Inara shows 6 systems)..

Is this to do with what has been updated through the EDDN process perhaps?

Only half the systems are included and not all of the stations of those systems are shown

As I mentioned above, for the data consistency I need to set everything, so any manual change can be overwritten at any time and user's effort wasted. The only possible solution may be to keep the pending state here until the current state change. But once again, even if the current state will change back and forth for any reason, the pending state will be reset.

Yep, I will add some timestamp there.

The journal/EDDN data are per star system, so I know what factions are in the star system provided, but I don't know in what other systems these factions are. So yes, the star system presence may be incomplete for some minor factions at this moment, but I expect it will be properly populated in a week, as more star systems data (and their minor factions) will be gathered.

Thanks for prompt reponse - just clicked on the MF again and it has produced an entirely different list - most of the missing systems/stations.  This might take a bit to settle down.

Hey Artie,

Most of my in game screenshots are 5870x1080 as I play on a three monitor surround system. I can't upload these screenshots to Inara without cropping them down to 1920x1080. Sometimes that's fine as everything interesting is in the center, and sometimes that means I lose something interesting. Any chance of supporting these widescreen resolutions in the gallery? Or if not that, having the site automatically crop them to the center to save some hassle for the uploader?

Not sure if anything has come of this from the other person posting about it. But, trying to import my netlog and every one is now saying "no date/time found".

Evn though some I had already uploaded in the past. (Re-uploading some to make sure I didn't miss any)

I increased the size limits right now, please try it.

Hmmm... are those the netlog files (not journals), generated after the game update 2.3?

Actually the newer netlog files created (creted with/after 2.3) uploaded fine. It was when I started re-adding in past ones (created before 2.3), to make sure I hadn't missed any, that are giving me the error.

Now, granted, if I hadn't actually missed any of the old logs before, there isn't any issues. But, as of right now, it seems pre-2.3 netlog files give an error.

That seems to have worked, I've added a few choice shots from my trip out into the deep black. Thanks!

Ah, there will be the cause. I removed support for the older netlogs as it is a different format. How much files do you have?

Martind Forlonhttps://inara.cz/galaxy-minorfaction/28718 now show only 2 systems with SJC presence, weird.

The problem is in the name. Please set your wing minor faction to this one: https://inara.cz/galaxy-minorfaction/76146, I will remove the other one.

Artie, Can you please change the default discussion board away from "UPDATES, BUG REPORTS, FEATURE REQUESTS" to "GENERAL / GAME TALK" or put in a setting that allows us to select our preferred channel to land in when we click "DISCUSS"?
