Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

You need to add all the various items of information in your Inara profile first. The Pilots Licence then pulls the information through.
And that's the problem; I don't see a way of adding the items in the profile. In my profile I see graphics of my various ranks, all of which are old, but there isn't a way of clicking on those things to update them manually as I would expect. When I mouse over the actual rank name, the cursor changes to a "?" for a tiny bit of information, but that's it.

ad mission visibility] Yes, exactly. Just like in the Threads, we would love for some Missions to give only our higher ranked Pilots visibility of several critical Missions, because of the undermining experience in the past. For example Missions with only visibility and access for Flight Leaders and above.
ad more roles] It is just a Idea for better orientation in a large Wing (we are more than 100 now). The Pilot could show his current role to others, he is for example mostly active as a Alien Scientist, or BGS Expert, or Exploring-Adventurer or PvP-Fighter, or Engineer's Darling or Elite Teacher....
So they could find each other more easily. For now they could build a "Squadron of interests", but with "roles" is could be maybe more like showing your own interests and build your own story, visible for others.
Maybe there is a way to put Ranks on this, too, in the future, given by the Wing Leaders. This could be something like the Medals and Awards (BGS-Master, Alien-Scientist Student...) Maybe the Medals for several roles are enough to show the abilities of the Pilots in a Wing.

About missions: Yes, that should be easy, I have this partially prepared already with the new wing members limit, I will take a look on it eventually.
About roles: For such things will be better to simply expose the roles each player has set, I will think about it.

- The journal import now handles shipyard/fleet related events like buy, sell, ship swaps and ship transfers.
- During import, your credits are also updated to the state at the beginning of the session (unfortunately, there is no way how to update it correctly also on the session end, because NPC crew wage cuts aren't included in the journals and it screws any attempt to calculate the final sum)
- The old netlog files import for your flight logs is discontinued, it is now handled in the journals import. The new flight log imports aren't just displayed yet as I need to do some conversion of the old flightlogs first (will be made this week), so do not panic.

When I swap my current ship from one to another, the 'Ship Location' no longer updates automatically to the location of the newly selected vessel. Instead it just remains blank and you must update it manually.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I'm on Xbox, so no journal imports, just manual data insertion. I don't know if that would make a difference or not though.
That said, maybe the update sorted it anyway. I'll test it out and see what happens.
Edit: Nope. It still doesn't transfer the location across to the newly docked ship. I'll do it with a few ships and leave them as they are so you can view my profile and see the problem. All my ships are in one place.

I'm new here and also in Elite world. I was going around the bubble to map the systems etc, and I would like to buy anaconda and make it for passenger transport. I have heard that within the game you can get the discount on particular stations. Does anyone know which station is selling conda and which system is that? Much appreciate for all the answers!

Us Console Master Race players have too many benefits so we must put our stuff in manually here for balancing reasons
(Truth is, because Microsoft and Sony are very concerned with security, it's very difficult, if not impossible, to get an API system to pull the information automatically. That, and probably illegal too without permission...)

Truth. Sony is not able to coop with any concurring company which is stupid. Same in Elite we do not have cross-play (pros and cons, Not able to imagine me to face experienced players from other platforms), but because of that our community is not that big as it should be... And I am not a big fan of any Master Race
So what about that price reductions for particular modules etc. ?
