Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

This is something EDDI supposedly supports but I don't think it can be accessed without Voice Attack. Still would be pretty nice to be able to track that in Inara.

Meatloaf SeagalActually, they are being punished in real life. The Federal Privatateers have spies inside the fed navy club and have posted private discussions and missions from the fed navy inara page to several Facebook pages and other social media outlets. This has led to some fnc players with loose security on their profiles to be exposed (Dox-ed ?) To the point that they are getting nasty threatening messages on their photos on Facebook with the #smartlog, getting harassing phone calls at work, etc.

Yes, he did logout of unwanted PvP attacks by wings of privateers. But the reason was never to gain a tactical edge or return to combat. It was to avoid constant griefing by FP players that had no qualms with cheating money and rank. He's banned now because FP ratted him out to frontier, as they are trying to do here to what's left of the group he built...
If this behavior has consequences in a real life, it's pity. It is just a game. If any real life threats, etc. will appear here, I will simply ban everyone involved. That's not the spirit of the community on Inara.
My personal opinion about combat logging is that these acts have always two faces, something like you mentioned. For example, as an escape from an unwanted PvP or to avoid consequences of death. And there may be discussed if there should be some "PvP/PvE" flag in the game, that the game is punishing players too hard or whatever else. I have understanding for the combat logging under some very specific circumstances, but also I understand why Frontier consider this as an exploit on a different conditions. Personally, I do not play in Open because I do not want to face unwanted PvP that punish just me. In many MMOs games it is solved the way that PvP is open, but player killed lose nothing. I can accept that, it is just an annoyance. Not in Elite, where some griefer can completely ruin your effort and potential karma system will solve a problem just partially (I don't care if attacker will be punished or not, the harm to me was done already). But that's just my point of view.
In any case, generally, any public exploit promotion here on Inara will be deleted or punished (depends on severity). Any public and also private real life threats here will be punished very hard. I think it is clear enough for anyone who may try to do this.

ZATZAiHey Artie, I have a feature request if it's not too much trouble. On the Cargo page, could we manually set levels for mininimum, ideal and maximum amount of materials? Would help to keep track of what we can afford to throw out when our material/data inventory fills up. I mostly want to keep track of what materials I want on hand for synthesis of jumponium and reloads rather than for blueprints.

Yep, I have something about it on my ToDo already. Not directly to the cargo edit, but for blueprints (how many times player wants to craft it), which then also reflects to the cargo list.

I am on the XBox and thought that too. It turns out that if you look around on that page you will see highlighted bars for updating your rank etc. Click on these and do it manually.

Well, you or someone from your IP scraped Inara in a very unpolite way (few thousands of requests in ten seconds). I lifted that temporal ban away, but - please, no massive data scraping next time.
NezerrothOutfitting shows wrong info. I'm at LP 128-9, looking for 6A AFM, but it's not there. Someone updated it today, however. BD+49 1280 is also wrong, it's not sold there.
Yes, even the information may be one second old, it may be different in the game. The companion API is sending outfitting data as "this all may be available here", but in the game it may be further limited by your reputation, station/faction state or whatever. I cannot do anything with that, unfortunately, every site is affected by it. That's why there is a note about it in the outfitting, I should highlight it there.
