Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Artie, now that faction influence should be gathered automatically, any chance these graphs could be reset? There's quite a few that either dip down to 0 or surpass 100% and it looks a bit awkward.

Just a minor update - minor faction graph colors are now displayed by minor faction allegiance, but if do you prefer the old colors, you can turn it back in your Settings. Also, the last minor faction update date is displayed in the star system overview.

Will there be a set time that the Inara data will be updated and where (timewise) in relation to the daily ‘tick’ will the update sit?
What do the date/times on the system info page relate to:
Time data was updated?
Time Inara was updated?
The dates shown are a bit of a mix at the moment despite knowing that we have visited some of these systems with appropriate software as recent as yesterday.
Can you confirm that simply jumping into system is sufficient and this does not require pilots to land at a station to gather the data?
PS, new colour graphs are cool

The latest Community Goal (deliver galactic travel guides to Colonia) says Galactic Travels Guides can be found at Bluford Orbital in the LHS 3447 system, but looking here on Inara, they don't seem to be listed. Am I missing something? These guides are a relatively new commodity, added to the game recently. Is there a lag?

Tigon OlogdringHey Artie, quick question, how come for Meyrink Orbital in LHS 3666 (market/8103/2105) the loop routes and imports are no longer showing Imperial Slaves as viable commerce? (I'm not sure quite why I/S are illicit cargo in the system TBH as the controlling faction don't seem to have an issue with them and the Power is Imperial too...) As of a couple of days
Interesting, I will take a look on it. Do you remember some star systems/stations with Imperial slaves that were present in the list before?

All data are updated almost real-time (in 5 minutes max) when received from EDDN, there are no ticks or set times when the minor factions are updated. The time of update is stored as is logged in your journals, the time is exactly the same (the delay in data transport has no effect to it). The minor faction data are written to the journal on FSD jump, so there is no need to dock to any station for the general minor factions overview in the star system. But, for the station control update it needs to be docked in that station (those are different events in the journal and I don't know station ownership on FSDJump event). The current minor station times displayed may be older for some star systems, as I needed to add another field there and took the lazy approach (
) how to populate it, based on the previous general star system date field. I expect it will be correctly populated fairly quick (simply on the next star system update). 04 May 2017, 5:42pm
Re the Imperial Slaves thing with Meyrink Orbital: common runs have been to LTT 8517 (Hopkins Dock, Seega Dock and Vishweswarayya Orbital), returning with I/S to Meyrink Orbital.
Could it be a minimum demand of 1, system-prohibited goods, no "buy" price (although it's a sell price that's important so probably not)?
Other systems handle the Imperial Slaves just fine so it's definitely not an issue with the "commodity" per se.

JayridiumArtie, Can you please change the default discussion board away from "UPDATES, BUG REPORTS, FEATURE REQUESTS" to "GENERAL / GAME TALK" or put in a setting that allows us to select our preferred channel to land in when we click "DISCUSS"?
Probably no settings for this, but I wanted to do a thread list as a default view anyway, so it will be solved that way.

Thanks, the issue was fixed. It seems one of the optimizations I did few day ago wasn't working correctly under some circumstances.
