Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

ArtieSo, there is an update with various changes and improvements across the site. The most visible change is the site design - the style of the front/news page was slightly polished and extended to the other pages, together with other layout changes and minor functional improvements across the site. There were added settings for the upcoming PS4 game version and wings can also set their preferred language. Inara rankings score calculation was overhauled, so it now should better reflect progress of each commander. And... in case you didn't noticed that a week ago already, your cargo page can be update via game journals import, too.
There are additional improvements currently in the work - stored modules tracking, list of conflict zones (also with other system states) and Inara API. Soon(tm)

AthanasiusMinor faction names on the per-system edit factions page, where they own an asset in the system, are a bit hard to read. It's a slightly darker grey on a grey background.

1. More edition options to player faction: logos, description, etc. The wing logo dont fit righ.
2. More signature styles: Unlock more signatures styles/colors when you reach an Elite rank for example. Custom layout.

Hmmm.... yes, more signature styles may be possible. I am not entirely sure about that minor faction editing, the idea is that there is usually a wing attached to them, so all that description may be made in the wing.

Current formula is: 1000 points per rank (including progress, proportionally) plus 100 points for each billion in total assets (up to some amount). I added some clamp on progress for Elite ranks right now, which should normalize them (as someone has set progress 0% on Elite rank, someone as 99%).

SVL KrizZAlso, I really like the new wings list, it's more simple and easy to use, but it doesn't show Wing logos. I now adding logos to the list it will probably break it. May I suggest a "Show list" and "Show mosaics" options.
I definitely liked the old layout myself. Or maybe I just liked seeing the Wing banners. I would love to see them put back on the list in some way.

I must say that you have done a good job with the most recent update, Although I seem to have a very small problem.
Having double checked my ranks and credits to make sure they are correct, It appears the most recent changes to the system have not allowed me to be ranked overall.
Having said that I can completely understand if this is something you are reluctant to change due to it skewing the points system.

I see that you can track your Materials in here, but I see that my ship hold has many but in Inara all show 0. How can I fix that? Do I have do to anything? What am I missing?

You have to upload your log files here for your data to be reflected.
Because materials and cargo is always in a state of flux, you might be better off using something like ED Discovery, which reads your log files in real time and displays your stock of stuff as things change. It's not tied to blueprints and engineers, like Inara is, but it keeps a running tally for you.
Now, if Inara had a little PC agent that would read the log files and upload them to here transparently as you pick stuff up, that would be amazeballs! It could then also sense your current system and station, etc, etc. Artie is going to have an API for the site in due time, and so this dream of mine is only a little while away.

Because materials and cargo is always in a state of flux, you might be better off using something like ED Discovery, which reads your log files in real time and displays your stock of stuff as things change. It's not tied to blueprints and engineers, like Inara is, but it keeps a running tally for you.
Now, if Inara had a little PC agent that would read the log files and upload them to here transparently as you pick stuff up, that would be amazeballs! It could then also sense your current system and station, etc, etc. Artie is going to have an API for the site in due time, and so this dream of mine is only a little while away.

If any of you programmers out there that would like to make another plug-in(s) or help develop that plug-in so that more can be automatically uploaded/updated here on Inara, I am sure there are a lot of commanders would be very greatful. EDMARKETCONNECTOR and its plug-in are both on GitHub.

I am in contact with the plugin author and upcoming Inara API will be a better way to do some auto-updates.

Any chance of adding "Taxi Service", "Tour Operator", or "Space Limo" to the roles section? We've had passenger missions for quite some time now, and I stopped smuggling slaves (outside of PP activities) since they hit, as I imagine a few other CMDRs have done. If you can come up with a better name for what I'm throwing around then go for it, but it's certainly something different.
And, of course, there's those people who never smuggled people to begin with but don't mind moving folks around of their own accord.
