Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

PhelboreShadowNexus84cool, my setup isnt as flowing however, i only have one connector for my screen which i use for both my pc and my xbox one so i constantly have to switch between the 2 or use the internet browser on my xbox, which is a little faster to switch but a lot slower to input information since no keyboard. oh well guess i'll make due for now. still need to get a headset so its easier to communicate with cmdrs, and no can't use regular headsets my wireless controllers only support xbox one headsets and they not cheap should i get the headset before joining a wing? and apologies for drifting off topic.
Can you enter it on your phone?
Don't have a phone, weird i know in this day and age. simply cant afford a cellphone at the moment. but still should i wait to have a headset before joining a wing/player faction?

The benevolantDoogz73Cobra 3 vastly superior to the 4, same as viper models and cost more. If i had to choose i'd pick the 3 EVERY TIME
the cobra needs some adjustements, but the viper 4 at least have armor to survive longer than a viper 3 and for both of them, speed is a secondary problem compensate/fixed with palin Grade 5 thrusters mods
PS: the small hardpoints triforce on the top of the cobra 4 is great for rail guns. o/
People are simply trying to use the Cobra IV for the same things a Cobra III does, which simply does not work. The Cobra IV is a great miner/trader. Twice the cargo capacity of a Cobra 3 at practically the same price when A-rated. A T6 carries a little more for that money, but is a lot less capable to defend itself.

No, introduce yourself and get to know people through chat. Not every Player Group used voice, and none of them use voice exclusively (that I know of).
A headset is great for in-game winging as it helps for instant communication. However, I've played with plenty of people who don't use a headset for various reasons and that has never hindered the fun we have.

Duke SpartanI currently have two Cmdr accounts (in-game and with INARA) with totally different playstyles, bookmarks, ships, locations, etc.
It appears, because of the website cookies I presume, that it is impossible to have both logged in here at the same time. My goal is to have a shortcut on my browser to the INARA page for each Cmdr instead of constantly having to log out/in to check everything when I come here.
Is this possible?
If you don't mind juggling two browsers, that might be the simplest solution. Browsers keep their cookies separate, so log into one identity with one browser, the other identity with the other, and there you go - you've passed the test for joining the elite ranks of some of our Writers Guild members.

I used the Cobra 4 for mining, during the brief time that I had it. It's a great early-game ship for that, for exactly the reasons you mention - you can fit a refinery, collector and prospector controllers AND still have room for cargo and some limpets. It's also decent for some mild piracy.
Does Frontier STILL give it to people for buying Horizons? Seems if not, then anyone who bought Horizons when this "promotion" was in effect, and is still in "early game" is likely not playing much at all.
If you're a collector, then the Cobra 4 has a place in your stable, but I can think of a dozen better ways to spend that kind of money.

When I import my JOurnal FIles there are no ships added.
Is that alright? Is the Import funkction just update the ships? Is the Feature not ready yet?

This might be a one-time data issue, in that case it probably doesn't need your attention. But chances are it's a demonstration of some hidden bug, so I thought of reporting this.
In the faction influence chart for Tote there is a nasty spike of no data available.
I have checked actual commits to ROSS for 2017-08-25 21:53:33 and 2017-08-25 23:43:14 and they seem ok to me.
Another strange phenomenon is that I can see you are filtering the chart to show only 1 data-point per tick but for 2017-08-25 it show 2 data-points.

You need to set the "Category" box below the main input field. It's on Logbook by default. Looking forward to reading your bio!

DJ_MegaI am importing journals, but it's no longer updating my ships or my Engineer stats.
It depends what engineer data were present in the journal and also if there weren't some newer change. The engineer data are updated just on reputation change in the log, otherwise they aren't present there. Similar for the ships (event are there just for the ships used usually).

Unless the ship was actually bought, it is possible. But improvements to this are on the way.

Thank you for the report, I will investigate it, this spike seems to be suspicious and may be caused by manual edit (although there is a check in place for the influences sum). The influence data are recorded as they are going in, so there may be multiple records per day present (for the new data), until they are further reduced to the latest entry per day (and eventually latest entry per week and so on after some time).
