Commanders having Elite from Epic games store with http 400 error
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.

Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

Hmmm... Okay, that makes sense. Unfortunately, I don't think we can update EDDN since we're all on XBox. The Star System with odd time signatures is Liu Yines. Most of the times are around 20:00 GMT, one is at 0900, one is at 1800, etc. Thanks for the very detailed answer - I'm going to do some more reading on EDDN.

That's alright - people were visiting that system at different times (so also sending the data at different times).

maybe it's just me being dumb, but I've imported my journal log hoping to see my credits balance for the evening. But, for some reason, it's showing the same balance as last night.
Is this another thing that takes a while to update?

It depends. All stuff from the journal imports should appear here immediately (except the flight logs at this moment, which are stored also immediately, there is just not the proper output yet as I need to merge it with old flight logs first). The credits from journals are updated just from the state on the beginning of the session and not the session end (because I can calculate all the credit changes across the session, I am already doing that, but as there are no NPC crew wage cuts anywhere in the journal, the result is usually wrong, so I am not storing it). So if your credits/assets at the start of your latest session are the same as the credits/assets on the previous session, there is no update, as it is the same.

No idea. If your ship and module values fit exactly what is in the game, the only reason may be stuff in your cargo. If I remember correctly it is also counted towards Current assets in the game. In worst case you can always put a custom module in your stored modules here with a value that will cover the difference.

There is an EDCompanion app on google play. It uses information from inara.cz and requires commander API key to log in the commander. I can see that the inara account setting has an API tab saying "nothing to see here yet".

So i need that API key.

As far as I know, it gets just the community goals from Inara, so I don't know what key it is requiring (the future API key here is for something completely different). Try to contact the app author.

Hi Artie,

There seems to be an issue with ship names in my fleet, some are lower case, one is upper and lower case, one of my anacondas is being given the same name as the another in lowercase but it has a different name in game, I can change all manualy but the import overwrites everything again.

The ship list to the right only shows 4 FDS instead of 5.

Interesting, I've tried the custom module but I can't put negative values. However, I did notice that I have 581 materials, could possibly be cause for the discrepancy?

My last Inara log gave me:
Credits: 56,168,070 Cr / Assets: 277,281,590 Cr

While in-game, my assets show as 277,281,008 Cr.

Either way, it's close enough that I'm not complaining, just figured you'd like to be made aware.

Well, the names are updated as they are in the game, including lower/upper case (although it is not visible in the game). But it's right that I shouldn't overwrite the name if it differs just in cases for the better comfort, I will improve it. The newer Anaconda you bought (t.s.v. annabell / RJ-LHB) has the gameID assigned, so it is considered as the correct one. The other one is simply just... a different Anaconda. As you are using the same idents for all your ships, it is not very helping to identify the correct ship (as mentioned on the journal import) on the initial import until the gameIDs are assigned. So please consider the Anaconda that is rewritten on each journal import as the correct one and modify the other Anaconda (or just switch to it in the game and import the journal, it should correctly assign and rename this Anaconda as there is no other in your fleet).

There is 5 FDS in the list, the remaining one is just lower below the Imperial Clipper (the ships are ordered by their value).

Ah, right, there are no negative values possible as there shouldn't be a need for it in the ideal case. But it as an interesting find with the materials! There is possible that each material has value of -1Cr and is counted towards Current assets in the game, but it sounds a little bit weird. Can anybody confirm this? I will try to check it also on my account.

Wouldn't it just be nice if FDev included the assets value and ship values in the Journal...

From my interpretation, that basically means don't start up a website called LolMyFunnyPicsDaily.com and use Imgur to host the images for it. I use it all the time if I need to host something to post here or wherever.
