Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

TuzoWell I can support a faction - but I see no way to show support for a wing other than being in it - is this correct?
There should be a button in the top right corner on each wing page (eventually, on the bottom in lower resolutions). It isn't there?

ArtieSo, fellow commanders, there is an Inara update with various improvements:

Any commander now can support any minor faction and any wing. Although support for a minor faction is just to show a number of supporters at this moment, supporting a wing can give you an access to their missions. You will be also listed as the wing supporter on their page. This general functionality may be further enhanced in the future, let's see how it will be going first.

There is one think though I seem to miss. I can't find any reference to wings I support. Not in my CMDR's Log, not in the Other Wings page. Am I missing it or is it really not there?

This would allow me, at a glance, to see who I need to work on.

I would love something like

At the bottom of each mugshot. Maybe with a different colour border for any engineer to whom you've received an invite or unlock.
This would allow me, at a glance, to see who I need to work on.

Click your CMDRs Log> Ranks & Reputation> then the smaller Reputation button. Its all there. You can import your journal on this screen as well.

Would it be possible to add a checkbox or some indicator in the fleet page for "Museum" builds so they don't apply to asset calculations? I have a number of ships I've sold/crashed but like to keep listed in my fleet page, and while i mark them "(Archive)" in the name, Inara still tries to count them towards my current assets.

Generally you search the PG in the friends menu under the private group tab. Click send request and then wait for the PG owner to accept your request. Wether you get accepted or not I guess depends on if the PG is recruiting or not.

It is not at this moment, but maybe I will add some option for it later. There is a limited space on the signatures, so I need to fit everything in.
John MathurinJust out of curiosity, how are permits handled on Inara? Do you have plans for giving permits their own place somewhere (maybe under ranks/reputations) or will you leave them as notes?
They are not handled any way. I have some plans for the permits list, but nothing concrete yet.

Hello, probably not. The favorites/bookmarks are universal solution for multiple things here and I do not want to add another sub-categorization there. But, I would like to add custom notes for each favorite/bookmark, so it may solve your problem. No ETA, but the system is partially prepared for it (I just need to rework the buttons/user input for it).

It is displayed in your CMDR profile in the Reputation section. Probably not the best place for it, I will eventually place it somewhere else later.
