Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

R. MinervaHere's a feature request - Dual membership in wings.
For instance, my wing is mostly composed of members of the wings we're coalitioned with, but people would like to be able to show their membership in both without having to make a second account.
No plans for the dual wing memberships, it brings more troubles than benefits. But, I have some ideas how to extend the current wing system that people can show support for other wings, etc.

ABishNot sure how this has happened, but this system https://inara.cz/galaxy-starsystem/30538/ is showing a station where there is no station. There doesn't seem to be a way for me to delete it, so I guess Artie has to?

EffectsI'm having an issue with getting the INARA signature to display my wing icon. Is there a trick to that? I've tried updating the wing icon to three different transparent background icons - but no luck. My wing is over 25 members so I assume I'm just doing something wrong.
Probably nothing wrong on your end, it was a bug which should be now fixed. Please try to regenerate your signature again (simply disable it and then enable it again).

1.- Show Wing Rank on Signature
2.- Show 2 diferent roles on signature
3.- More roles: Politician, Director, President & CEO, Chairman, Dictator, etc.
ad 1] good idea, adding to my ToDo
ad 2] probably not on one line, it becomes too long, but I will think about it.
ad 3] hmm... rather not. I do not want to put "high ranked" roles there, rather something common. Rather in the style of "job name" than "position in the job".

When I bookmark the armor recipe, "Armour - Heavy duty (Grade 5)" for example, its listed in my Favorite Blueprints as "Lightweight Alloy - Heavy duty (Grade 5)". The same applies to all the armor recipes - kinetic, thermal, blast and lightweight.

I've had an idea for Favorited blueprints, how about a 'roll modification' button that automatically deducts the components from your listed cargo; assuming you have them all available. Just a thought.

Just a quick heads-up on a missing icon: the megaship icon doesn't display in the systems page (e.g. The Harmony). URL it's having an issue with is: /images/stations/20.png

Jokergod2000Any plans to add "proof pics" or some other method of verifying your ED ranks? I know people can use Photoshop but it would take a lot of work and know-how.
No immediate plans, as it may be forged (as mentioned). Maybe there will be some way in the future how to make it bullet-proof.

On roles - different wings operate differently and thus have need for different roles. Having a superset of these for everyone to use is likely undoable. BUT, maybe leaving a few roles "user defined" might be possible? Or maybe making all of them definable at the wing or user level? That would allow for "Chief assistant to the head cat-herder" a possibility, for those who need it.
I meant the roles on the "Settings" section.
Oh, I know. But there we have "Privateer" which basically is everyone doing whatever they do since as a player taking missions for pay is the very definition of the word, and "Miner" and "Salvager" which are very specific in-game activities, and "Runaway Slave" which has no in-game representation at all and is strictly RP. So, while a great thing, using the role to accommodate the needs of everyone makes it way over-extended. Having it be free-form input rather than a defined set would allow individuals and groups to define whatever values/sets of values make sense in their context. It would allow people to abuse this, too, but they can already abuse ship names, screen names, sigs, etc, so...
Ohhh, ok I understand now, it would be better what you suggest, so the admins don't waste time on adding custom roles, each commanders can do it by himself.

One12alphaThe wing overview page is now super wide. It used to fit on the screen without scrolling. I'm not sure if its something I've done, or it was an intended change? All other pages seem to fit just fine though.
Something to do with what Goose40d said on your General Discussion it seems (from inspecting with Chrome and deleting just the text element of each redacted bit). The same doesn't happen on my wing page, with some similarly redacted discussion, so must be specific to what how what he said is redacted for non-members, and presumably how it appears for members has the same issue.
If it was just the redacted versions then Artie could tweak that code, but if it's the plaintext as well then it's time for tricks with CSS whilst trying not to have it look crap on wider browser windows.

I read you have no plan to allow multi-wing membership, which indeed makes lot of sense. Also, you mentioned planning some improvements regarding interaction of members of different wings, which is a great news.
I hope I can get you consider introducing some kind of group alliances structure. In this scenario multiple wings could enter the alliance, members of the wings would have the ability to be assigned functions in the alliance (much like wing ranks) and mission could be shared with a specific alliance only.
On another note if you ever consider uncoupling the access rights within a wing from rank, +1 from me. it would help a lot if multiple tasks could be delegated to a single rank.
