Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.

Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

AthanasiusAm I correct in thinking that when mouse-overing the system graphs of MF influence levels the tooltip is always showing the current state, no matter how long ago the influence level is from ? It'd be nice to have the history of state changes too. Main use case is "when *did* that War start?" in a specific system.
Yes, it is showing a data series title for the whole graph. I have the states for the historical data, but there are some limitations for the current D3/Rickshaw graph used and is problematic to put additional custom things for each data entry without hacking. I am looking for some other chart library that will offer more flexibility for things likes this. Any tips welcomed.

The goal duration was probably set wrong, it can be adjusted in the cgoal edit (just for a case it will happen again in the future).

There seems to be an issue with it now that its always offline and I wanted to know if you have any info to help me figure out why its been down? Im hoping Inara.cz still has some type of bot within discord because my faction uses it consistently. Thanks for your time and help with this matter.
Hello, I can only recommend to contact author of this bot, I am afraid there is nothing I can do with it (there is no Inara discord bot).

I try to do a journal import every time I shut down Elite.
I used The Dweller last weekend to start modding my ship. I finally modded the lasers on my Python. Yet it still does not show up. It shows only me getting an invite for Farseer sometime in June.
I guess I could start manually updating them but I'm still curious as to why it did the Farseer and nothing else.
That's odd. If your standing with Dweller was changing during the session, it should be also imported and reflected here (unless there is some newer entry for this). Please take a look if there are any "event":"EngineerProgress" records for Dweller present in the journal file?

Some information is missing from the engineer Broo Tarquin. You can gain reputation by crafting AND turning in bounty vouchers. The bounty vouchers part is missing. I just tested it now 15 August 2017.

I just noticed there's a bug regarding the system(s) called RATRI: https://inara.cz/galaxy-starsystem/860/
There's something very broken, probably because you're inserting/updating data by the system's name. According to EDDB there are two RATRIs, one in Colonia (https://eddb.io/system/10918695) and the other one about 75 ly north of Sol (https://eddb.io/system/16001).
A fix would be great, take your time though!

PS: Oh, while I'm here. Would it be possible to add a "factions updated" column to the list view of a faction's systems? That'd be helpful because I wouldn't have to check each system whether the data's up to date. Just asking!
Thanks, I will check this in the game and current beta. This star system was supposed to be renamed by FD in the patches earlier also with other Colonia duplicates, but it apparently didn't made through.
Edit: It seems that it was renamed in the beta, so this issue will be fixed with 2.4 release.
About factions updated - I do not wan't to put too much things to this table, as there is not so much space left on smaller resolutions, but maybe some indication like "3 days ago" as used elsewhere will fit. I will take a look on it.

It doesn't have a stuff I would like to have (but probably no chart library has that), but this one at least have a nice and well documented custom tooltips.

ShadowNexus84hey guys just heard about inara from another cmdr last night. was wondering if its possible to do a journal import with the xbox one version of ED and if so how? i like to be thorough when creating a profile an it would be nice not to have to enter every detail manually.

yeah just for PC, can't import file from console.
I'm on ps4, and did mine all manually. Not so bad really. Well, the first time you input everything, it takes a bit yeah, kinda sucky, but honestly after that first input of data, it isn't so bad if you keep this open on the side while in game updating as ya go.
I use a laptop so it's not so hard to have it off to the side and input materials as i get em under my cargo tab. Pretty much if i'm playin, i have this site open just for that. Makes the engineer's soooooooooooo nice and simple. Lol.
Not to mention, the community here is just that groovy, i like to keep the site open and read up on news, ppl's rp, etc while in the game too. Keeps it immersive, ya know. That's just me tho...give it a shot, ya might not mind it either...

ShadowNexus84cool, my setup isnt as flowing however, i only have one connector for my screen which i use for both my pc and my xbox one so i constantly have to switch between the 2 or use the internet browser on my xbox, which is a little faster to switch but a lot slower to input information since no keyboard. oh well guess i'll make due for now. still need to get a headset so its easier to communicate with cmdrs, and no can't use regular headsets my wireless controllers only support xbox one headsets and they not cheap should i get the headset before joining a wing? and apologies for drifting off topic.

Good DeathDo you need to be at a station to for the journal to update to work properly? My current ship doesn't seem to update. I'm roughly 2000ly from the bubble. I did a complete reset of my profile here on Inara. Do we need to update journal in all areas of Inara or just one.
If I recall right, Elite puts your ship data into the journal only on the ship switch event. So you have to either import the journal from the day you bought/switched to your current ship, or indeed dock and switch ships back and forth.
